"Midfielder Landry N'Guemo has vowed to improve in order to convince Celtic to signing him on a permanent deal - but may only have a few weeks to stake his claim. The Cameroon international will cost Celtic £1.5million to buy from Nancy in the summer."

£1.5 isn't very much for a player at today's prices. But the question is, is he worth it? Is he worth more than that?
His tackling is very good, but IMHO the rest of his game generally has sucked for long periods. ...

Edit1(December): But in the last few games, dramatically improved. Long may it keep going.

Edit2(after Scottish cup exit): NO. I was right the first time. He can tackle when he wants to, but he can't pass the ball, he can't head the ball and he never scores any goals.

Based on performances so far... Stick or Twist?

Made a blistering start to the season, fell away badly for a month or two. Signs he is coming back on to a game.

Stick-ish.

I personally think alongside Crosas he forms half of our current best midfield partnership.

Therefore stick, however it will be interesting to see what Ki can do in January too....

I think if he gets his head down, and is given a good partner beside him who he can trust and learn from, i.e. not Scott Brown, he'll be a good player for us. Been a bit hot and cold at times but at a time when none of our players are playing that well, I reckon he could do a job for us.

Stick.

Stick. Depending on how good this Korean lad is, he doesn't need to be that good, we could sell Brown and have two players of similar, if not better, quality and have a lump of change left over to improve other areas.

Yes

He's only arrived and will get better. Typical comments on here over the past few weeks writing him off

stick for that price. he has his qualities, e.g. ball winning, however, must improve. what i cant get my head round is 'he has vowed to improve'? shouldnt he be doing this anyway?

Not sure about him at all. Has moments of madness, gives the ball away with frightening regularity, dives into tackles, can't shoot to save himself so no goals in him. Yet he has something about him and he has age on his side still.

Need to give him the best part of the season before deciding. No rush.

He didn't deserve to be on a losing side last Sunday. Give him the rest of the season in a settled side and I think he'll be good for us.

A settled side? What am I saying?

Has potential, alot of potential, I would sign him. He is very rough around the edges but he is the sort of player who can progress quickly and could perhaps be sold on for a large profit.

I quite like him, and hope we sign him. But then I also hope he's no more than a substitute for us after next summer ...

(make of that what you will)

What i make of it is you think we will have signed better midfielders by next summer. I wouldn't put a whole lot of cash on that mate.
