Its games against St.Mirren at home where he should be given the oppertunity to show what is capable of.

Just a win will do please.

Also if he was that valuable a CREATOR for the teams he has been with would he not have stayed with them longer or would we not have faced stiffer opposition for his signature. Remember that TM had set up a �1.5m deal to keep this guy at West Brom. That was his value but when TM moved we got held over a barrel when purchasing Fortune. He shouldn't be compared to Robson unless you are using Robson as an example of someone who would go a brick wall for his team. Then you could really show Fortune up. I know you like TM mhate and you are willing to defend him as much as possible. The truth is he will play Fortune as it's his main signing and it is very possible that he isn't as sharp in the transfer market as you give him credit for. He has wasted our money! I think it was the legendary Ebbe Skovdahl who suggested that statistics are a little like miniskirts in that they look good but hide the most important thing. Tony Mowbray stated that he didn't sign Marc-Antoine Fortun� to score goals, he's there to create space for others (and it was looking pretty good before his injury - McGeady and Maloney were flourishing early season) Of course, that doesn't excuse some of the opportunities he squandered at Tannadice, but to take his goalscoring record and present it as evidence that the player is a "disgrace" for a footballer of his pricetag is very mis-leading. The jury is very much out on Fortun� at the moment, but I get the feeling that as much as you suggest Tony Mowbray plays him because he is his most expensive signing, Fortun� is also a bit more open to criticism than others due to his high fee. Definitely has to start producing something soon, though. Did auld Ebbe really say that? effing auld perv

Still think we are missing a creative midfielder guess that's going to be ki when he gets here but i can't see were he is going to play unless crosas will be for the off so we would have a CM of ki and nguemo samaras to score a bullet header that's would bring both mcginn and mccourt on once/if we are comfortable as they both can be impact sub mcginn with his pace when their defence is getting leggy and mccourt for his run's Edited by aboutabhoy, 28 Nov 2009, 09:42 AM.
