1246: Generally impeccably observed. Poor show from a section of the away support.

can anyone access the green brigade website to see their plans for today/
Dont have the statement to hand but it was agreed the silence wouldnt be disrupted. The issue is not with the minutes silence, its with the poppy on the shirt.

Might be interested to know the Green brigade, AICSC and the Scottish CSA all have statements out criticising the club for the decision

that was fans from outside the stadium, inside was silent!
Turning up in Falkirk on a Sunday to sing Aiden McAnespie outside the ground ? How sad is that..

The commentator on RS stated that it was impecabbly observed by 4,000 Celtic fans in the ground. The Scottish laptop loyal will probably have a go at Lawell for not wearing a poppy. That's his choice. It's a pity that the far better quality poppies with the green sprig aren't available in Scotland instead of the poor quality produced here.
However, that's the problem -they have green in them!

Just tried to get on FF. Can't. The board is too busy.

No doubt they're all screaming in outrage at something. Dignified, my anus, their determination to use Remembrance Day and the poppy as footballs in their own political game shames them even more than ever.

Could have been a lot worse. If the singing came from outside the ground then I don't see what anyone has to complain about. The silence outside the stadium was scheduled for 11am, not 12:45.

Radio Scotland said some clubs decided not to have a minute's silence this weekend. Anyone know which ones?

I imagine if we had suggested that we would have been dragged through the mud for it.

Glad to hear that our fans can rise above the shampooe from across the City.

Those who booed outside though deserve a kick in the chuckies. But a relief for me and fair play to the fans inside who showed why we are Celtic fans, we are decent human beings.

I'm sure they said on the Football League show last nite that Plymouth didn't have one.
