The issue is not with the minutes silence,its with the poppy on the shirt. Might be interested to know the Green brigade, AICSC and the Scottish CSA all have statements out criticising the club for the decision

The commentator on RS stated that it was impecabbly observed by 4,000 Celtic fans in the ground.The Scottish laptop loyal will probably have a go at Lawell for not wearing a poppy.That's his choice.It's a pity that the far better quality poppies with the green sprig aren't available in Scotland instead of the poor quality produced here. If the singing came from outside the ground then I don't see what anyone has to complain about. The silence outside the stadium was scheduled for 11am, not 12:45. Radio Scotland said some clubs decided not to have a minute's silence this weekend. Anyone know which ones? I imagine if we had suggested that we would have been dragged through the mud for it.
