I have just checked his wiki He got into trouble with Newcastle manager Joe Kinnear when he got into a training ground fight with French teammate Charles N'Zogbia over a late tackle on Carrol's counterpart. Kinnear decided not to punish the two saying "It was just handbags, and it's been blown out of all proportion," and "I can't stop players being passionate, and wouldn't want to. I won't be taking any action" On 11 September 2007, Carroll made his England under 19 debut against Belarus, scoring in the 4�0 victory.[5] Carroll, along with Scott Sinclair & Ryan Bertrand, was sent home after breaking curfew on 14 October during preparation for a match against Romania.[6]

With players like Carrol, Taylor x 2, Harper, Enrique, Barton, Smith ect they have a far superior squad than anyone else.

Not sure about Carroll, I think the Championship is his level, and wouldn't expect him to make it in the Premier League if/when Newcastle get promoted. Still, would be a decent signing for Celtic, if you can be a handful in the Championship you can be a star in the the SPL. And I agree tonyjaa, I like the look of Ranger.
