He's had a decent enough game tonight so far lack of service preventing him from doing much going forward but he's fought for everything and is very handy defensively with set pieces and stuff. Would take him ahead of the two diddys we have Skippy and Samaras.

At 20, he's doing alright in my book. Yeah I was really impressed with him (Marlon Harewood was a good foil right enough...) he's direct and always looked dangerous and he was a good target man. It was just comical last week that he missed a one-on-one from 6 or so yards and another free strike in the box before perfectly controlling a volley across the keeper from about 18 yards

His distribution has been caldwell esque at times though trying to play the world cup ball instead of keeping it simple. Apart from that he's looked ok.
