My Dad did it - and yes I did ask him if he got to see where Franco sat and watched his executions... er.. football matches.

The trophy room is awesome...although the souvenir shop is disappointing...still the club simply oozes pure class, right down to the team bus.

I stayed in Madird and went out a walk and saw a pretty plain looking stadium(from the outside) with a car park that looked like it held about 50 cars and on closer inspection couldn't believe it was Real Madrids stadium.I think the pitch must be below ground level and I went to the shop where there was a window looking onto the pitch though I didn't do the tour.I would be amazed to see how 100,000 go to the stadium during match days because there didn't look to be anywhere to park.

I had a fantastic time on the stadium tour, it was a few years ago now but very impressive and there is the odd celtic memento there too. I went with a massive Madrid fan and afterward he ran down on to the pitch with his fly away and started running around like a 4 year old. Brilliant. I think we scobbed a euro of a passerby to afford a disposable camera. Must have walked around the whole stadium 3 times before i found the way in.

Good times. Definitely do it if you have the chance. Their EC trophy section is pretty damn cool.
Look out for the trophy they have on display relating to a 3-1 victory against Celtic at parkhead around about the early 60s. Can't remember exactly what it was for. My old man was amazed it was there when we popped in on our way to Seville as he was at the game.
The trophy is called "The Blue And White Trophy" :o  .

We lost 3-1 to Madrid at Celtic Park - think it was 1962.

Is it recommended ?
made the tour 5 years ago. it was worth it then, and they've upgraded the museum since then, so i am sure the tour is really worth it now.

The only exit from the tour is through the club shop, Ching ching :suspect:

I was there as a kid - an amazing night. They were all over us in the first half but in the second we scored a goal (was it Bobby Carroll or Stevie Chalmers?) and could have scored 2 or 3 more. At the end of the game, the fans demanded a lap of honour and followed the teams into a hotel at Central Station, with Puskas saying "what supporters!" over and over.

It would have been embarrasing but for the fact that 4 years later we were champions of Europe, and a couple of weeks later we played Real in the Di Stefano Testimonial (friendlies were real games in those days). Jinky ran amok that night and set up Bobby lennox for the winner. my mate lived in Madrid and was at the game. He said the Real fans, who had seen everything, knew they were watching a special side.

Tried to go when I was over a couple of years ago, but we ended up getting shepherded in to sit in one of the stands with a load of locals and official fan club kids. We were a wee bit bemused until we realised that we had stumbled into Pepe's official unveiling. Was still good though.

Great stadium but a bugger to find the entrance. No guide either you have to make your own way around it. Nou camp tour is better.
I find it helps to check the website. ;)

Tickets:
Window 10 next to Gate 7 (Paseo de la Castellana side)
Tour access located at Gate 20 (Avda. Concha Espina)

I did the tour last year. Hadn't realised the stadium was quite so steep. The trophy room is  it also houses some of the ugliest trophies i've ever seen. You'll know them when you see them. I felt you missed something without having a guide like the Nou Camp tour but it did mean you could take your time without having to move along with an organised tour. Sure there is also some stuff from the the di Stefano testimonial that had everyone raving about Jinky.
Aye I saw them trophies your on about horrible looking things. I done the tour a few weeks ago gotta admit I enjoyed the Barca one more though we never got a guided tour. The 3d show is amazing at Camp Nou wish we had something similar. But you will enjoy Madrids stadium it is impressive no doubt about it. Me and my bird done it she was wearing a Barca polo shirt if looks could kill. Plenty of interesting things in it as already mentioned their collection of European cups is something else.

I did it back in 2006. Was quite fascinating and bizarrely enough, it appears a bit small compared to having seen it on TV. :ponder:

Only Scottish club to get a mention I believe were Kilmarnock, whilst their only Scottish player was a guy called Watson.

Also got to sit in the dugout, So when you watch the highlights of Barca humping them 6-2, remember that I stood where Pep Guardiola did then. Also got in the opposition changing room. We were in awe that Henrik Larsson had used that changing room once too.
