Have been told by CP employee that the Maestro was at Lennoxtown yesterday for meeting with Tony Mowbray.

Tony has talked very highly of Paul in the past both as a player and as a man.

Wiilie has gone albeit more than likely temporarily - I wonder if we are at last going to utilise Paul. :hmmm:

May be nothing in it but he was definitely there - any resident Kds journos know/hear anything on this?

Too many cooks etc.......He has done his duty. Been out of football for too long now mate.

Sentiments agreed. He is there for support to the set up, thats all.

I got speaking to him briefly after the do at the Tommy Burns tribute game - he is still involved as a partner in his company which designs websites.

Quite possibly as I say could be something and nothing but Tony Mowbray does think very highly of him,Willie has moved on and TM is definitely intent on making this HIS Celtic set up.

Apparently Boruc and him have had a heavy heart to heart and Boruc has had it laid on the line what is expected of him.

As much as I loved PM as a player, I would be worried if he joined the management team that TM seems to be building... there are very few proven winners in there.

The Maestro, is, was and always will be my favourite ever Celtic player. If there was a place for Paul at Celtic, what a boost.

To have a man that could pass the ball the way Paul did coaching our players could only be a good thing. The man is Celtic to me.

I think you can look back on many top managers and coaches and question whether as players they proved themselves to be winners.

Mowbray was a big honest defender yet looks to play attacking football.

I don't think what these guys did on the pitch 15 years ago will have much to do with how they set the team out.

My cousin did his coaching badges with the Maestro about 5-6 years ago i think it was. Seems strange that he's not been involved in the coaching side of the game yet.

Doubt it would be as part of the management team you already have Mowbray, Venus, Grant and Lennon in there.

I'd love to see Paul back at CP, him and Lenny reserve team manager? Has the reserve team been ditched yet?

Can we get Paul Elliott back as well to tell the defenders how to actually header the ball away from goal.

Granted they dont have to clear the halfway line like Elliott did ;)

Neil was already there; I think TM, PM, and PG probably won less than 20 medals between them... and I think I'm being generous with the upper limit.

Paul carried a club and its support through the leanest times in modern history. If it wasnt for him during the 90's suicide would have been sweet relief for me.

Would love to see him back in some capacity. He won't be joining the coaching staff of the first team IMO, would love to see him involved in the youths though.
