Could this be confirmed as a rumour?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A53973471
Surely not :nono:
I will not be happy if this is true.

Will get it confirmed tomorrow as my old boss is a die hard hornet who's very friendly with the head men.

Incidentally I wonder how Burnley supporters feel about their transfer policy. Fletcher, McCarthy and they have been linked with Driver also.
If that were Celtic I would not be over the moon and Burnley face an infinitely more difficult task than we do next season.
To be honest I don't think Burnley fans will give a eff and will be quite happy seeing who Coyle brings to the club
for their little EPL adventure.

Not really, if anything Pennant, and Habib Beye actually out-shone £11m man Coloccini last season imo.

Benjani might do a job on loan or £1 million or so. Only 31 so he's got a good few years left in him.

It is an adventure for the Clarets and the town is buzzin' especially after the signings and the targets quoted. McCarthy is the one that's got them going. I have to say that I'm getting slightly :twitch: about our apparent lack of action on the transfer front, but we'll see.

Celtic manager Tony Mowbray has revealed that he plans to recruit a minimum of four new players in his Parkhead revolution.
The Englishman wants the new quartet to stamp his personality on his side - and more players could arrive if the Parkhead club decide to sell any of their top star
As Nancy forward Marc-Antoine Fortune remains at the top of Mowbray's wanted list after a protracted pursuit.
And Celtic should find out within 24 hours whether the Frenchman, who worked under Mowbray on loan at West Brom last season, will snub the fortunes on offer at Hull, Portsmouth and Fulham in favour of the team being built at Parkhead.
Mowbray said: 'We've come to an agreement with Nancy and Marco's torn at the moment. His first choice would be to come here and play but he has more than a couple of Premier League clubs chasing him.
'It's that eternal dilemma: Do you make a football decision or a finance decision? I'm hopeful, but I'm realistic.'
Mowbray also insisted he was never in the hunt for Scotland striker Steven Fletcher, who joined Burnley from Hibs for £3million, because his former Easter Road protege is not ready for the big time.
He s a i d : 'There was no conversation with Steven. He's a very talented individual but, if we are going to spend the sort of money he went for, I felt there needed to be an instant impact on the team.
'Is Steven ready to come to Celtic and be the main striker, someone who scores 25 or 30 goals a season?
'I'm maybe doing him a disservice because I haven't seen him enough in the last two years, but my view would be he needs another year or so to do that. You want a striker to come in and take the burden on his shoulders.'
M o w b r a y c o n f i r m e d yesterday that out-of-contract pair Paul Hartley and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink had left the club after neither were offered new deals.
And more players could yet b e l e a v i n g Pa r k h e a d a s Mowbray shuffles his pack to raise the money to stamp his own personality on his side.
He said: 'If nobody goes out, I would like to think we could a d d t h e r i g h t q u a l i t y footballers, as many as four players to start with.
'But we didn't win the league and haven't got guaranteed Champions League income, so we are not sitting on a treasure chest of gold.
'With the right sort of toing and froing, we can get the right balance in the squad.
'Hopefully we will make one or two signings the supporters get excited about. But it's not always easy.'

I'd say a playmaker, a left back, a midfield enforcer, a first choice striker and a back up striker are needed.

But most of all give us some pace please TM

Kicker says that Aragno will sign for Mönchengladbach on Monday(in german):

If we were really interested in him it`s just sad that we lost out to a club like Mönchengladbach.

Don't believe it. BBC seem to reckon we're not interested. Wouldn't say no mind, simply based on the fact that he scored more goals last season than Nade, Mole and Elliot combined.

No, that's a MAXIMUM of 4 players during this window.
