 Right folks 3rd time lucky with this.

I'm not even going to bother with the index now as there is just too much pish posted in these threads to wade through to find out what is worth updating.

If you are just going to constantly post nonsense for the sake of it we will take action to stop you being able to do this.

This thread is for rumours, it is not for listing players you think we should sign or just generally annoying folk.

If a player is linked with us in a newspaper, online or on the radio, initially it goes in here. Unless it breaks across many different sources at the one time. If you are posting a story then please include a link if one is available.

If you have decent sources and hear a bit of news then stick it in here, ideally this means people like M1K3Y89, Murphio, Michael Joseph, Scottybhoy, Bawman etc who have good previous for this sort of thing but my all means tell us if you know something.

If there is a signing that doesn't relate to Celtic and isn't big enough for it's own thread it goes in here.

Once a rumour gathers a bit of momentum it will be given it's own thread.

We appreciate that there will always be some discussion about tactics and formations but pointless posts will be deleted. People who we suspect are making things up or are at it in any other way will now be put on mod preview meaning their posts will have to be cleared by a mod before making it on to the board, we don't really want to do this but we are prepared to to keep the board free from the kind of nonsense that tends to clutter up these threads.

Believe it or not people read this thread to find out the latest links and rumours, they may not be on the board all day and if they just pop on for 10 minutes it's not fair to ask them to wade through page after page of chat to get to a bit of news.

EDIT - AND ANYTHING FROM FOOTBALLRUMOURS.COM WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY!!

I think you misunderstood mate - I said it would be appearing in the media which it did. Feel free to doubt any rumours I post as you would anything which appears in the chip wrappers because personally I dont know nowt. :thumbsup:

Kris Commons was the player. Murphio said that him being linked with us might hit the papers but he never mentioned announcement.

Not saying we did. I personally think the boy would be better not following Liam Miller's example and remain at the club he's at to develop. Just my opinion...

 Incidentally I wonder how Burnley supporters feel about their transfer policy. Fletcher, McCarthy and they have been linked with Driver also.
If that were Celtic I would not be over the moon and Burnley face an infinitely more difficult task than we do next season.

I see. Sorry, I thought you meant they were turning us down in favour of a brief stint in the EPL thence the Championship. The prestige attached to the EPL, rightly or wrongly,must be very hard to resist though.
