Quoting limited to 3 levels deep much worse.
Who then?
Read behan's post, he pretty well sums it up.
Who is worse than Owen then- in your opinion?

None of the above named players do....

They might have less talent but "pound for pound" Owen must be the worst of the lot.

Titus Bramble is one of the worst "footballers" I've ever seen. Less talent? Bramble has no talent.

So you are saying Bramble is the worst signing in Newcastles history?

Talents not the main point. Although he must have some redeeming qualities :ponder: * What he took out the club in relation to expectations is.

"Pound for pound" Owen is a far worse signing than him. No question at all.

His performances throughout the 08/09 season picked him up four awards at the club's awards night, including 'Player of the Year' and 'Player's Player of the Year'.

Its amazing how many people think the same.

Loads of my mates cannot stand the sheer pussiness of him in Old Firm games. Acting like a big fud, shaking hands with Bawwy and Co.

We need a Captain with some stones. In spite of Caldwell choking Weir, I think t has to be Boruc.

I'd imagine that the bigger agencies will do these kind of brouchures for most players on their books who are actively looking for a new club. Obviously for less well known players it'll just be a couple of pages detailing their career stats and former clubs with maybe a couple of quotes from people in the game who rate them. But for the guys who are looking at big money deals (and despite his injury problems, Owen will still easily be looking for a weekly wage in excess of £50K) they are obviously selling the "brand" as much as the player so they will do a more detailed sales pitch about what he can bring to a club.

Obviously a glossy brochure isn't going to clinch him a deal - but if the expectation is there that there should be some sort of information provided then they need to have something professional looking. Even if it's not telling them much they didn't already know, if you're asking for a huge wage for a player on your books it wont look very professional if all you have to give prospective employers is a print-off of his stats from Soccerbase or Wikipedia.

erm... you would put "pish" like that in your CV if you were going for a job that had a high media profile where you would be conducting interviews on TV, representing your employers regularly and generally having your picture plastered all over newspapers and other media outlets as part of advertising campaigns.

People put crap on their CV's like hobbies which don't even relate to anything they actually do in real life.

MO also does synchronized pommel horsing. Add that to brand appeal and athletic accomplishments to this ambassador of sport's curriculum vitae.
