News from Japan is Nakamura and Yokohama have stopped their negotiations and it's now unlikely he'll come back here! Media are saying he's swaying more to Espanyol than us, but is still undecided!
:suspect:

I'd really like to watch Naka playing in La Liga. Assuming he's played in the middle, I think the game is perfectly suited to him.

Do you and MB believe he is finished? If so why do you think he should move to a more difficult, more technical, harder league to play in?

He could stay and be better in the middle for us next season under a better manager. I wouldn't be too hasty to get rid seen how he virtually pays his wages in marketing anyway. Also, I doubt the board will spend any serious money to get anyone better in.

Hope he stays.

I'd like to see him stay on and play in a side which doesn't have him hugging the touchline and having to cut inside all the time.Mowbray's side may just use him properly.

Any time we played against a quality fast paced passing team in the Champions League Nakamura was always well off the pace and looked out of his depth, he would be a impact sub if he goes to Spain, nothing more,

however he is no were near finished, with his fitness regime he was probably the fittest player in our team.

Would we not be due a fee for Naka's image rights no matter where he goes?

Would like Naka to stay at least another season. A manager playing him where he should be would be a help - was never cut out for belting up and down a wing. Most times he did get playing in the middle he ran it. You could tell he was more cetral since the get go - he was forever cutting in, and is definitely more effctive when he has more options than turning left or back.

Pirlo role, with Broon & A.N. Other. mibby even Donati if the new fella decides to try and toughen him up a bit.

Too clever a player to be done yet. Russel Latapy pissed the SPL FFS! Auld Doatery Davie strolled another season. The SPL isny as demanding as they like you to make out!

Wouldn't mind him staying but no point if his heart's not in it. I can understand people thinking he's maybe a little bit past it, but I remember seeing Henrik in his final season at Celtic and did think the time was right for him to move as he was approaching 'past it'

Which games and which attacking players did play well in those games?

Would love him to stay as one moment of skill from him lights up the whole game. Also can't see the board splashing out to replace him with someone as good.
On the bigger picture, with setanta going breests up, any kind of international exposure is better than no exposure.

Haven't Japan already qualified for the World Cup? He'll want to play for a team where he'll be pretty much guaranteed games.

I'd very much doubt it.
I can't imagine any deal would be for anything other than for the duration of his contract with us.

I agree.

Mowbray lets his players go and play, and uses them to their strengths. I expect alot of players to be given a new lease of life under TM.

Brown especially, but possibly guys like Chris Killen? Miby even "that shampooebag" Donati?
