The now famous FF molligation...

Posted Image

This image was posted on 'festerfester' to great praise from the huns and comments like, "Even one of us fans can produce better marketing that the club!", "That pure dead brilliant!"...

After the hook was firmly embedded in the huns' collective lip, the image was updated with a few 'alterations'. To my surprise (not really), the praise continued until one of them noticed the KKK in there. Which tells it's own story. They were happy to be associated with Attila the Hun, Thatcher, Jim Davidson, Pastor Jack Glass, etc... :cuckoo:

Doing a bit of research - discovered this amongst others - I think these are originally from a Toon fan.

No prizes for guessing - say what you see.

I'm sure this was the game after which a local Newcastle paper published a headline "Invasion of the Huns". although Celtic fans used the term before that, it's from that headline that they became known as the huns in practically every stadium in Scotland and many in england.

No it wasn't it was 10 or 11 years before that 1958/59 season that the english papers had the hun invasion it was the west side of england and lower league teams that thrashed them but that was the norm for the huns then.
