Well deserved. The sun actually had a very good article on him today. He was commenting on Strachans "dynasty" and how he believes the current squad can be together for a number of years, as someone alluded to earlier the vast majority of our players are early to mid 20`s and have not yet hit their peak. If we can keep the likes of Heid then we could be in for a very good few years ahead.

A year ago I would have been commited for typing that last sentence.

And hopefully we can improve upon the likes of Caldwell, McManus, Wilson etc in the starting eleven, whilst keeping them around as good squad players. We have a pretty decent base to build upon, hopefully Strachan can add some more class to the first eleven.

Well, in the absence of us signing John Terry,Rio Ferdinand,Ricardo Carvalho or Carles Puyol I guess The Heid will have to do.

There are far more "average" players at the club than Caldenbauer.

Caldwell deserves what seems to be coming his way. His form has been outstanding from March onwards - easily our most consistent player and improving all the time.
Totally agree!! (never thought i would say that about heid)
