Official club channels shouldn't be distributing this kind of "humour".

Own goal, I'm afraid.

Pathetic.

Aimed squarely at Nicholas. Lawwell has thrown the toys out of the pram on this one. He may not like the criticism but is acting like a 10 year old rather than the MD of a £75m company.

Btw- Nicholas' team at least won an away game in the European Cup.

It's giving that erse Nicholas some back-handed publicity. Now he'll be going on about Celtic being unprofessional etc etc. Running the club down even more.

Is this sort of thing the norm in the View nowadays? Last time I bought one (free beachball to take to Seville) it was all photos of dogs in the hoops and wordsearches for the weans...

Aye, 'cause that's quite clearly the inference from the article. :cuckoo:

I like it. A wee bit of humour. Football is taken a bit too seriously at times and it's hardly the Grand Remonstrance. And anyway, why shouldn't the correspondents at the Club's paper have some kind of 'right to reply.' How long have we moaned about institutionalised bad press?

I'd bet that the origianl article had pretty much all of us thinking of Charlie Nichloas, even though he is not explicity mentioned in it. Just what does that say about all of us, then? ;)

They should be big enough to handle any criticism like Charlie's without resorting to a petty retort like this Murph. Where are the replys to Traynor's Famine piece, Leckie's one's as bad as the other pish or any number of thinly veiled attacks from meeja types? There aren't any because they're a) entitled to their twisted opinion and b) the Club should take these criticisms either seriously and have a loo at what the person is actually saying or else laugh it off.

Seems small minded imo.

Edit - Is that Tony Hamilton asking what Charlie Nicholas has done for Celtic? A lot more than you dickhead. WTF do you think you are?

I don't understand how we can give out about the biased and unfair media criticism of our Club and then when someone who actually can pull them up in print does so give out about that. I'm all for pulling up the ***** who's only link to Celtic now is that they make their bread and butter putting the boot into us time we hit back at them.

100% correct.

Get tore into the fuds who deserve it. Not people giving an honest appraisal of how bad Aalborg were.
