Good result in tough conditions.

I’d like to see Morgan start next week.

Thought the ref was fine
Eh? With about twenty minutes to go he decided to stop awarding us free kicks; there was a foul on Ajer (I think, stream wasn’t good) that should have been at least a yellow card that was ignored

Have to say that home kit is awful looking with those socks.

Professional performance against a mob whose only asset was the heat!
Yes there were individual mistakes but that was as much the fault of the timing of the game as it was the players’ fault.
Defenders by dint of where they play are more easily highlighted than forwards.
All our attackers at times made far more mistakes than Hendry but he is the one who will cop far more flak!
Onwards and upwards!

A very good start to the season. We need to get Ncham off dead ball delivery. We wasted lots of good chances to get decent balls into the box. Hitting the first defender is criminal and we done it time after time. Morgan looked very good when he came on. If we send him out on loan I'll eat something.

Good result to kick off with, given the travel and heat. Some good goals, and decent play along the way. Bit dodgy looking at the back at times, but it's early days yet.

Would be looking for a few goals next week.
Yeah can't argue, would have been easy to come away with a draw considering the circumstances (the heat of course but also - what was that pitch?) and in the past we've shot ourselves in the foot against teams just as poor.

This is the round in which we are expected to duly dispatch our opposition, and they have been duly dispatched. Thoughts and prayers for all the roasters roasting in the stands.

The pitch was decent apparently.

Fantastic start away from home, against a side who although not great were match fit and posed problems

Hmm OK I was definitely led to believe their season had started, not sure where I got this from, must have been a "fake news" thing.
But they were no Lincoln Red Imps and missed at least one sitter

You actually got it from the manager! Said in his post match interview that the opposition are in mid season.

It's been someone called Tony for friendlies before tonight. Never got second name. He was dreadful, so I assume it's him again.
Won't be Tony Watt, can't see it being Tony Shepherd. Tony who?
