Kerrydale Street Charity Fund; An update

Jam back on.

A long overdue update on the charity front. Took a while to get the cheques sorted out and posted off and I was holding off to see how many thank you letters would come through but so far only 4 from 8 have arrived. All charities did respond to our emails informing them of the donation except Loaves and Fishes so far.

You might be thinking 8? Thought it was only 6. Well, we ended up with more money than we thought we had and were able to extend our charity donation to 8 charities, so £500 donations went to;

Alzheimer Scotland
Glasgow Homelessness Network
Kano Foundation
MND Scotland
Loaves and Fishes
Scottish Action for Refugees

plus the following two, one of which we were particularly delighted made it on to the list.

Pancreatic Cancer Scotland
Glasgow East Women’s Aid

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to cartuja and amychiai who have looked after the charity fund bank account and helped get the cheques organised. Thanks to supertim for liaising with SAFR.

The biggest thanks goes to KDS and its patrons though as it was through your efforts we were able to distribute a sizeable sum to all charities concerned. :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:
