Osijek beat PSV Eindhoven in the qualifiers last season.

Rangers are unlikely to still be in Europe come the second week of August.

Aberdeen are oot.

Hibs have a reasonable chance against the Greek side. Lenny's experience in Europe might make the difference.

Sevco will get taken to the cleaners if they make it to the second round.

Burnley will expect to beat Aberdeen just by turning up.
Hopefully that will go against them, that and the sheep being that little bit fitter at that stage of the season.
Won't be a match i'd be bothered about missing.
Hope the sheep beat them though.
I would want the sheep to pump they English feckers tay hey

L'Equipe's opinion of Burnley...

Surprisingly, the famous and usually very reliable French newspaper have described Burnley as “as a 100% white team with players with flattened noses and big ears, coached by a ginger Englishman, in a city who voted 70% for Brexit and which has been the breeding ground of racial tensions.”

The introduction in L’Equipe goes onto say:

“Formed with 80% British players and 100% white players, Burnley is the surprise team of the season. 40 kilo-meters north of Manchester, everything is from another century.

Aberdeen have lost Christie, McLean, Arenson, Stewart, O'Connor. Not sure they'll have much chance against Burnley if they're trying to throw in a few new players that early in the season.

Should be funny to watch how these diddy teams humiliate themselves like they do every year.

The roll of shame in the last 10 years for Scottish clubs in European qualifiers is mind boggling. European ties against no mark teams are described as bonuses to most Scottish clubs who don't think it's a big deal if some part timers pap them out.

Aberdeen Burnley might be the first game ever where the ball doesn't touch a single blade of grass. I'd love to see Aberdeen go through, but it's extremely unlikely. The other two have a chance of at least getting through to the next round.

I think Aberdeen have a chance.

English teams usually start their preseason a bit later than we do and they will probably assume they're going to coast it.
That's all well and good, but for the fact Aberdeen are notorious bottling bastards.

They've done not bad against decent sides a few times over recent years.

They'll probably lose the tie but I don't think it's ridiculous to suggest that Aberdeen might be competitive

For years I had an irrational dislike of Burnley because they beat us in the much lamented Anglo-Scottish Cup...

Hope Aberdeen somehow beats them but could see them failing to score in either game, as was predicted earlier in the thread.
