Doubtful with all the qualifiers. Rodgers wasn’t a fan of it anyway.

Huns don't seem to like it being pointed out that their final flag day for the legned Cardigan in 2010 wasn't shown on TV as Sky preferred to show Lennon's first game in permanent charge of us away to Inverness.

All about the Rangers, but.

I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere however from the BBC's Scottish Football gossip page for today:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44639903

Sky Sports has taken the unusual step of not broadcasting live the Scottish champions' flag day and will cover the Aberdeen versus Rangers Premiership opener instead of Livingston's visit to Celtic Park on Saturday 4 August. (BBC link to the Scottish scum I mean sun)

I hope that means BT Sports will provide coverage of Flag Day, still disrespectful if you ask me. ðh

They've not chosen any Premier League games yet.

As mentioned before in the unlikely event we get put out by Alashkert, we would have a Europa League qualifier 2nd leg on Thursday 2 August, two days before we play Livingston. We would then be on a path of Thursday night fixtures every single midweek, likely meaning Sunday games the whole way.

So if we are in the EL, then Hearts away would need to be moved to the Sunday for TV. If we are in the CL it would likely be on the Saturday, especially if we have a Tuesday kick off the following week. And this is the entire problem. The SPFL and the broadcasters cannot know for certain what competition we will be playing in making scheduling a total nightmare.

Basically it is as follows:
CL: Tuesday games = can't play Sunday before

EL: Thursday games = can't play Saturday after

BT aren’t allowed to show Home league games from CP.

Said weeks ago Sky wouldn’t toss away one of their 4 games for Livingston. Flag day really is all a bit meh anyway.

Agreed. They'll pick two home games around the title run in. Sheep in March looks like one, and then probably trophy day.

It’s likely they will show one of our home games against Hibs or Aberdeen. Hope it’s Hibs as that is likely to be a good game.

It's getting that predictable and constrained due to the four home games rule that you can virtually guarantee that Trophy Day will be against Hibs or Aberdeen, if they make the Top Six, so they can kill two birds with one stone.

My bet is on Hibs this season, because it was Aberdeen in the season just past.

That is unless Hearts have a good season, the chances of which are virtually nil given the crap they've signed.
