First huns match will be moved to the Sunday
100%

All the idiots in my work think there's no need to book the Monday off

Text my mate an hour ago and said the same thing as he works Sundays.

"IF" the huns make the final qualifier, they could be going across Europe, on the Thursday night and plaing on Saturday lunchtime, aint going to happen.

Another absolutely brutal schedule from the SPFL. Once the league kicks off at the beginning of August we're potentially playing 2 games a week until the winter break - leaving aside the International breaks. If we reach the group stages of either European competition and make it to the League Cup final then our first free midweek with be December 19th. And that will probably have to be used, as we have scheduled league games on the dates of both the League Cup SF and Final.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I know, yet again I’m being treat disgracefully
At least you’ll have a chance of watching it on telly. I’ll be in a field in Wiltshire with Bobby Peru and Idyllwild

Does KDS still put all the mods through the Duke Of Edinburgh Awards ?

And even if they dont make it, we could potentially be there :ph43r: It will be too late notice to wait until the round before is over to change it so it'll be moved to a sunday in the next few weeks I'd imagine

Being saying this for months but we should play a development/reserve team for the betfred cup regardless of who we play and be very upfront about it

No we shouldn't.

Play the best team we can in all the games we play.

Win the BetFred Cup before the end of the year and put a marker down to the rest of the league that we are still the ones to beat and are going nowhere.

Agree , to an extent .

I'd tell 4 or 5 key players when are first picks that they are out the LC team and their understudies will play every round of it .
Brown , KT , Rogic , Ajer , Mousse . theyre needed for all the league and Europe games , rest them for the minor trophy .
Some will balk at this but I reckon we could and should still win the Betfred

The first Betfred Cup game will inevitably be a rest for most of the first team, as will the international break in September.

Don't know if this was posted.

But the official Hoops account on Twitter picked out the Dons clash in a thinly-veiled swipe at the Light Blues for finishing third last season.
Alongside a graphic with the details of when Celtic face Derek McInnes’ men, it said: “Paradise will host first meeting between Scotland’s top two teams.
“Here’s when #CelticFC will battle it out with Aberdeen!”

It is true and the huns can't argue - It was meant to wind the fecks up.

Celtic are quite good at it these days.

The exact positioning and way Billy's statue with the Big Cup is facing is a classic example - The other three statues face straight down the Celtic Way - Billy's looks across the river to the Midden just by chance? :)

Does anyone know of some magical way to get Celtic's fixtures synchronised onto a calendar like Google calendar or anything? Saves me having to type them all in and forget to update them if there's any changes/additions

Celtic not usually put something up on their website that syncs to a calendar? I have it on my phone like that.

Stupid question probably, but what's my best option to get a ticket for the first home Sevco match? Not a regular visitor, living overseas.

So the league game at Tynecastle can’t be scheduled until after we play Rosenborg (or whoever)? ‬

‪We could be playing in a EL qualifier the Thursday before or a CL qualifier the Tuesday after?‬

We should book a glamour friendly that weekend and play the reserves in the friendly.

Unless you know somebody who can help your options are to try your luck on the day or guarantee one by going hospitality which will be heavy dosh and yet will still sell out quickly.
