Quite a lot of the different types of arseholery have already been well described.

What gets me most though is the complete lack of decorum. A good example was Stefan Johansen putting up a celebratory post on Instagram following Fulham getting promoted to the Premier League.

Some of the direct replies from so called Tims lead to only disbelief. Plenty profanity, plenty claims of him being "useless" and a "c***" from accounts called stuff like CroyBhoy67YNWA and StarryPloughBhoy and stuff like that. The Bitton stuff is of a similar ilk.

Whatever your views, if you're using these things to communicate insults with "personalities" from Celtic or otherwise that you don't like, there is an overwhelming chance that you are a complete banger.
His abuse of Craig Gordon is despicable.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Her stuff on Celtic is good, the religious stuff though ... :twitch:
I don’t really do Twitter much to be honest.

She is from a very religious background though.
They may well have been religious, however, I doubt they were a 'Republican family. My ex-neighbour was in the British Army with her brother.

Can’t stand The Clumpany, Fr Paul Stone or Jeanette Finlay. They’re probably on this board, but I don’t care. I’ve muted those accounts though I still seem to see their tweets from time to time.
Jeanette aside, Throw in clowns like 'Bartin' and James Forrest (no the player) and you've got the set of the main ones to avoid.
No idea why Jeanette would be thrown in with the other lot. A committed and active Celtic fan who follows the team everywhere and spent a good few years fighting the OBFA.( and unlike the others doesn't waste her time talking about the huns)

A Celtic fan, a socialist and a devout Catholic. Quite simple, if you find offence with any of that then don't follow her.

Some of the Celtic players are the worst to follow. Constantly retweeting banal shampooe or giving some celebrity endorsement for a free pair of boots or a free holiday.

The comments and gushing for ex-Celtic players is awful too. "Would love to see you in the hoops again one day, big man!" all that shampooe. Usually to a player who has long since forgotten us, or wasn't even that great a player for us anyway.

They love a good 'picture of player + inspirational quote about Celtic' too. Usually a blatantly fake picture of Messi with a quote about how he loves the Celtic and it's the best atmosphere he's ever seen. The pure Sellick da's then retweet the eff out of it, copying in the @SkySports handle and stuff like that, with some comment about, "See! Stick yer EPL up yer arse! Messi knows best!" followed by hunners and hunners of wee daft shamrock emojis.

Stuff like this is annoying too. These daft, pointless, completely said by no-one ever who has been near a real Celtic game in years stuff. The type of arseholes who get their knickers in a twist about a 'guard of honour' at football or how many away games we're draw in cup ties. Half of these clowns have never been to a Celtic game in their life or haven't been for years. Their entire Celtic supporting credentials are now lived through tweets and emojis.

Not really. It is staggeringly obvious which thread discusses them though

Maybe they should just create their own club - called 'not sevco' - and they could all create their social media profiles round that? They wouldn't even need to bother with the pretending to support Celtic stuff.

See as a fan abroad social media tools annoy me.
We have pages set up for Supporters clubs abroad which club members post about club on goings, sorting out lifts etc.
A million random guys living in Scotland join the page for hee haw reason and reply to all our messages.

ME: "Anyone need a lift to the supporters club Sat?"

Random: "I would but I'm in Greenock and your in Canada.... :-) :-) ;-)"

Aye that was funny when the first 400 folk posted such patter.
Social media has it's flaws but it's pretty good for finding new fans in cities abroad.
We need to leave the page open to allow newcomers to find the club. Then it gets hijacked by muppets with too much time on their hands.

I don't mind people posting nonsense football opinions or asking for a HH for their dug - these people are generally harmless.

The thing that annoys me the most about Social Media is the rise in wee guys posting about the Ibrox Disaster and other horrible stuff for RT's and likes. It seems every week there is a story in the paper about someone embarrassing themselves and dragging the clubs name through the dirt.

I've seen people say their only friend is online and they've never met them. People in their 20s. There is a lot of lonely people. Dating is decided by an algorithm for millions. Physically talking and dealing with body language is on it's way out. Nutters find a cause

There's a really good parody account on Twitter by someone called "Hipster Celtic". Writes the funniest and most pretentious shampooe imaginable. Has a sneering and condescending view of almost everyone except himself.

He's obviously got multiple accounts on here. And has posted his hipster bingo on this thread. Think he's currently shouting "HOUSE".

I don't. I can't stop people retweeting her stuff (thank god for mute now).

As I said, outside of social media, I don't think too highly of Jeanette Finlay from what I've heard about her from several people. Her tweets certainly make me think what I've heard is true.

It's not just Celtic fans though. I think due to social media, we're just starting to notice the amount of effing idiots out there.

The should of/could of brigade.
This.

I play football with a guy who runs a very large music festival and he showed us some of the messages he received via their Facebook page. One that stood out was if I bring my 18th birthday card will that do for ID? There was a list as long as your arm of similarly daft serious messages and the only conclusion we had was social media makes it easier to identify idiots.
