I know - I saw that myself...
Nearly spluttered tea across the keyboard there . . . !! Adam Virgo Ulrik Laursen was a decent player.
Definite captain of that team!

Oh man, some weel kent names on there! Dear auld Lachie - I seem to recall him exiting stage left from KDS in high dudgeon, after being robustly challenged over views on homosexuality being a “lifestyle choice”!

Have we mentioned the recent upsurge in the amount of people wearing "fake" tops. Now I don't mean a set of hoops that you picked up for €10 in Santa Ponsa that's meant to look like the real thing but has the badge on the wrong side and is the wrong shade of green. I'm talking about the proliferation of absolutely hideous looking tops that may have the badge, sponsor and even the SPFL badges but then have a picture of Broony or Brendan Rodgers along with a few quotes. Absolutely awful things and I'm not sure what type of person looks at one of them and thinks it looks good. There's an equally dreadful range of Irish Republican ones knocking about too. Had a quick look for some examples - these are far from the worst but best I could find in a few mins searching.... Example 1 Example 2
The Irish must take 97% responsibility for those monstrosities. If the Barry McGuigan moustaches or the bootcut jeans aren't a big enough giveaway - as soon as you see someone with one of those horrors on you might as well just jump straight into the, "So, whereabouts in Ireland are you over from mate?" question. They also seem to be disproportionately responsible for the awful, dreadful photoshopped Celtic pictures you see on social media. The ones that usually involve a 'ghost' image of Tommy Burns or Jock Stein. Or sometimes both.

Thankfully due to extensive use of mute/block/unfollow etc I avoid most of the social media stuff that's been mentioned on here, including the photoshop stuff so can't comment on who's responsible for that...

Years ago I bought something that was made to look like a GAA top but had Bobby Sands' ghostly face on it with "Long Kesh" and "1981" and god knows what else on it. In my defense I will plead that I was drunk in Rocky Sullivan's at a Damien Dempsey gig, and so it probably appeared to be a relatively subtle, modest and understated sort of thing given the surroundings. Can't find it now, I blame the brits.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepthose who introduce themselves by their twitter handle in real life.
I think I may have been at that table. Took a while to admit to being Murphio.
yeah, I'd have kept that quiet too. think this might have been an even earlier get together in McHuills. I recall Fudgie and Clydebank Bhoy and possibly BBB amongst others. We had a few beers and went for an "all you can eat " Chinese, where Clydebank Bhoy actually ate more than his bodyweight in food. Those were innocent times. The McHuill's one was later, I'm sure. Remember the all you can eat buffet. Was that not the bad taste shirts get-together in honour of celticsean?

We had a summer “ bad shirt “ night at Mchuills after the first Christmas party, but there was a very small get together way before the first Christmas night where there were maybe only about 10 of us.

So three Celtic Das would be a Trio?*
Back on topic... (Engage serious mode) FFS, it's Twitter (and/or Facebook which I eschew) There are zoomers everywhere, and technology allows us to step into the limelight for a second, possibly get attention, and then disappear. Some make money out of it.
If you're going to get precious over some less than erudite kid bamming up some celeb or other, or trolling some site on a whataboutery mission, then maybe you're not doing it right? You don't need to use it. You don't need to read things you don't agree with. You don't need to follow folk.
The effwittery evident in replies to perceived slants isn't exclusively a Celtic thing. Some threads I've seen on innocent subjects can produce the same ignorance and hilarity as any other. Just check the replies to ANYTHING Trump has tweeted to see that it's a global phenomenon.
Tweet by someone/something well known stating some "fact" Reply by one or more people disputing said fact by quoting some other fact. Replies by others saying "Good fact" or "shampooe". Replies by others quoting stats sites or a link to such. Replies by others consisting of whichever GIF satisfies their emotional reaction to the reply that suits their point of view. And so on until the next fact is stated by some other person and the circus rolls into town again.
The problem with Twitter is that it's mostly polarised if ever an argument comes up. No room for debate, just "GIRUYe", "Naw GIRUYouuuuu","Ma da's", "Yer maw" etc.
However I'd be lost without Twitter as a news feed. I don't invest time in reading shampooe, and if you've read this post thus far, then you probably do, so good luck to you in your Twitter rage!
*Only real Celtic Das will get that. Three Celtic Das would be a ménage a da, surely.

The one that pisses me off is the young snappers these days insisting that Big Billy's nickname is 'Cesar'; while that may well haVve been his nickname among the squad, he was frequently referred to in the printed media as 'Caesar' following Lisbon. In fact, the first print of his biography was Hail, Caesar. I'm pretty sure Billy would have corrected any mis-spelling.
Let's just agree that - for different reasons - both spellings are correct; I'm fed up being corrected by posters who weren't even born when Billy was playing.

On the subject of mis-spelling; a few folk on here, who should know better, refer to Judas as Mo Johnstone,

I'd like to nominate anyone who feels Scott Sinclair's engagement photo on Instagram is an appropriate place to slate him for his form last season.
Also anyone who uses the wee fishing emoji
