Thank you for the replies to my #sellickmaw request- it just so happens I know a few of them now.

What about fans of English teams who do the whole ‘the Celts are moi Scotch team you know!’, do we regard them as Sellick uncles?

I’m working on a diagram just now. Visuals will help deal with this unholy mess.
Celtic cousins surely?

Need to text mad pedro and ask him what constitutes a celtic brother

This a beautiful thread, really top drawer

Celtic Twitter/FB is a whole other world with all the celtic das trying to bang Haggerty/Rachel Lynch/The older blonde one with the massive cans being my particular favourite part. The responses to the Bale tweet the other day were also truly brilliant
How has this piece of beauty not got more quotes, any female anyway decent who posts about celtic automatically gets the creepiest replies ever!
I’ve been on Twitter a few years and hadn’t heard about this type of thing until recently.
Tbh I’d never gave it much thought, always just assumed it was pretty much football, funny pics/videos, politics and barely disguised (sometimes not even that) racism
The whole using it as a means to try and get your hole has completely passed me by

Remember how cringe the Celtic da’s were with Summer Harl? Very weird stuff, even for the internet.

But we shouldn’t forget she was a real pioneer of the Celtic Twitter sub culture, an innovator even. Must not forget that chapter in Celtic social media history.

They must have been in their element when she appeared on the pitch again on the last day of the season.

A thread on a social media platform (Celtic forum) slagging off Celtic fans who post on other social media platforms?
Seeing as I'm not up my own arse and all over Twitter I'll head over to the motoring thread or somewhere less cringeworthy.
Social media equivalent of sticking on 'Top Gear' on, aye?

Another group of twitter tadgers - those who introduce themselves by their twitter handle in real life. Also those who have the same name on twitter as they use on the forums - part of the want to be loved brigade. I believe there's also groups on twitter who arrange to meet twitter pals - usually find it's the young team too - usually lacking the social skills to form normal relationships. Possibly been excluded from their peer groups in real life due to being high on the queer-hawk spectrum. Twitter used to be fun until Celtic became fashionable.

Theres alot of people out there who live in a twitter world of pals etc aye i'd agree, but through twitter and away games combined you do see faces and get to know them. would never go as far as some though.

"You seen this?" as you're tagged or forwarded a major announcement involving Celtic on social media.

Naw mate - what with the time-difference it'll be a while yet before I see any Celtic news. Thanks for the heads-up though.

I remember a belter of a spoof: Messi looking all young and earnest at CP, one of those poignant, heart tugging quotes beside him that waffled about atmosphere, special fans, YNWA then seamlessly finished with Up The 'Ra!

Was that the same game we bagpiped the Barcelona bus up the Celtic Way?

#CelticBarcelonaFamily
No, that was last season

That was the worst of the lot. That rat Neymar cheated us in 2013, they then pumped us 6-1 and 7-0 and what do we next? Pipe them upto the stadium and give them the red carpet treatment.
Whoever came up with and approved that nonsense should still be having their baws booted, on the hour every hour, to this day.
