Guys that call Sinclair " Sinky"

Instant ban. There's plenty of names you could call him.

"Gary Mackay-Stevens" used to do my nut right in.
CelticTV commentator used to do it all the time :brickwall:

The Celtic Da' patter is absolutely atrocious. It's almost as bad as that wee spell a while back where people were using 'Celtic Park, much loved home of the famous Glasgow Celtic' and 'great tekkers'. People who use these phrases need culled from the population, right after we've finished dealing with the wallopers who say "should of" instead of "should have". :boxer:

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
It’s probably best that we’ve moved on from the days where adults could freely batter folk whose behaviour they didn’t like, is it not?
I'm sure most of those advocating the battering couldn't batter their way out of a wet copy of the flourish.

Good thread. Would read again. As an aside, the Sellik Da (or any 'yer da') at the football can also be found referring to any non-white player as 'the coloured boy'.

Btw, the worst patter comes from the official Celtic FC Twitter page, IMO.

"Enjoy another day at Paradise as Brendan Rodgers' #SevenInARow Champions aim to emulate the #LisbonLions with another display of football playing #TheGlasgowCelticWay #InTheHeatOfLisbon" followed by a gif of Callum McGregor awkwardly waving at a camera with a green screen behind him.

Mind when the Celtic twitter account 'live-tweeted' the Barcelona game about 2 years after it had happened? IIRC that was also in the run up to us playing Barca at home and getting resoundingly cuffed, no?

Was the day before we lost 1-0 to them at CP about 10 months later in the CL. All this romantic reminiscing only for Barça and Neymar to come and con us all and get Brown sent off. Probably had it coming to us just for doing that pish.

Also briefly unfollwed the official Celtic Twitter account when it first launched when they started that horrendous #dogsinhoops nonsense one Friday afternoon and polluted my timeline RTing every response to it.

Can still be absolutely toe curlingly bad nowadays but it has come a long way from those dark days.

As I said. Endless possibilities. Sinky is unacceptable, it's what Peppa Pig would call him.

Fan Friday was my favourite. Although I didn't get a like when I posted a picture of my dusty bedside fan.

I was upset.

At Tynecastle, we call them much worse. You know that.

Another 'yer da' line in patter: "I see Usain Bolt is playing fitba now. Worth a punt for his pace alone?"

Don’t forget the Sellick Granda’s who can’t pronounce foreign player’s names

“That Chi is a rare player” “The French boy”

“Ntcham?”

“Aye, him”
I think my old man's still trying to say Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink
"Van Hesselink," yer Da said it at least once

Oh yes. Also Sviatchenko is Shevchenko. Majstorovic was the bald numpty or similar
