There’s definitely something going on at Chelsea. Halting stadium plans, taking forever to sack Conte and pay compensation for Sarri, top players being allowed to leave, Abramovich’s VISA issues. Too much of a coincidence that all this seems to be happening at the same time.

Oh my how I would like to see that club take its rightful place as a mid table epl side with occasional soirees to the championship.

I’d love them to do a Portsmouth with Pat Nevin guiding them back through their very own “journey”.

Chelsea fans seem to think Abramovich is in a huff and no longer feels appreciated in the UK due to current anti-Russian sentiment and stricter checks being put in place on Russian businessmen - highlighted by the delay over his VISA which caused him to miss the FA Cup Final. What a mess they’ll be in if he suddenly decides to take his cash elsewhere.

Doesn't the club owe him a lot of money? I thought with their loan system and youth development to sell on at a profit they were basically self-sustainable these days.

Edit: just to add that if he wants his billion in loans back, they'll have to start running at a profit, which means 10 years or more of Arsenal levels of ambition, but no new stadium at the end of it

Think he wrote off the loans years ago.

I, for one, will enjoy watching a newly formed Chevco getting beat by Sutton United in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Not that I can see, no. He converted some to equity in 2009, but as of 2017 he was still apparently owed some 750 million. It's possibly moot however as if he wants his money back he has the ability to enforce austerity measures on the club and run it for profit as is his right. We may be seeing the start of that now.

He looks very like Pogba from the few YouTube clips I’ve seen of him.

I must admit to liking Chelsea when Vialli was there.
They seem a total mess now though.

A complete carrotscape of a club, undeserving of their Russian bank manager and all the fake success he brought them. Their rise was one of the first dominoes to fall that ultimately gave us this borefest that the CL has become where national champions have to struggle through six games to even get to the party so that some rich, corrupt no marks with a chequebook get to sail right in with the odds stacked in their favor to reel in the bonuses and riches that will further swell this rigged horseshampoo toward them.

eff Chelsea.
