TONY WATT is on the verge of signing for St Johnstone.

SunSport understands the former Celtic striker is in advanced talks with McDiarmid Park chiefs.

And Watt, 24, is set to agree a deal to join Tommy Wright’s side for the new season.

The Scotland cap has been without a club since leaving Belgians OH Leuven in February.
Ffs Tony, get yer act together, head down, score and get back to your best.

Another convoluted Barcelona transfer?
What’s the angle? He left Spurs a flop, spent a few years in China before making a highly unlikely move to Barcelona last summer. Done ok there winning the double and securing place in Brazil WC first 11. Now transfer back to China.

It’s all a bit strange but don’t understand the ruse, some sort of commercial tie up between Barca and China?
They spend 40 million euros on a player that comes from China, is a Brazilian international and is almost 30-years-old, but he doesn't match the style you've been playing for the last twenty years. Nevertheless Paulinho put in good performances for Barcelona but the following year you sell him for slightly more than you paid back where he came from. Or, others report he's on loan with an option to buy.

No idea what the angle here is.
Barcelona need to free up non-EU player spots. I know they have been linked with Pavon from Argentina.

Plus, the Chinese mob have offered a shampoo load of dosh.

I read that Barcelona only signed Paulinho because Neymar wanted them to. They never really wanted the fella and his signing obviously didn’t stop Neymar from leaving.

To be fair to him, he did well last season.

Wtf was Strachan thinking signing Flood?

He then took Flood and Killen amongst others. to Middlesborough.

The irony was Flood said signing for Celtic was a "mistake" - Celtic wasting time and dosh on Flood was the "mistake"!!!

He's done well getting that after the absolute shambles of the last couple of years.

Very few ex-Celts is say I hate and he's one of them.

He was mouthing off before we signed him saying we should put up or shut up as it was making him play worse at Dundee United. At that point Celtic should have walked away. Getting dictated to by a two bob non entity like that is not on but Strachan went on with it.

After he left he's been a total thug against us. Arse of a guy.

Onyekuru going on loan to Galatasaray from Everton. Can see why this kid wanted to join Celtic two years ago. Since going to Everton, he’s been sent on loan to Anderlecht, now Turkey, and still hasn’t kicked a ball for the club he actually signed for. The number of talented young footballers whose careers are stalling due to endless loan deals and never getting the chance to settle anywhere is staggering.

Not Strachan's finest hour and I am a great admirer of Strachan's contribution to the club.

It's them who sign their own contracts.
Some, like Moussa can see another road - more long term & likely more successful.
This guy maybe could've gone another route, but I bet he's happy enough with his £50k+ per week anyway.

In fairness, it’s not like he’s being loaned to Mickey Mouse clubs. Both loan spells will involve Champions League football and realistic chances to win some medals. He's not going to get those opportunities playing for Everton.
