I think we should buy Hibs and loan them to McGinn.

If we were to sign McGinn, you'd think there's more chance that it'd be Kouassi who's sent on loan to Hibs than him. He's younger and more in need of games than McGinn is, and if Lenny get get them through to the EL groups I think that'd be a more worthwhile experience for him than sitting on our bench or playing 10 minutes while we're (hopefully) in the CL.

There's probably more chance of us just selling Armstrong and having McGinn as his replacement though.

If we were to loan McGinn back to Hibs, wouldnt we just leave him there and sign him in January on a Bosman?

I am really surprised Dembele hasn't been linked with a move away. I suppose Celtic will want him to stay for the qualifiers at least, but our last qualifier would fall after the EPL window closes. Maybe we plan to keep him and if he is to go, sell in January. Ideally, i would love to see him sign a year extension and stay another season.
He struggled last year big time with hamstring injuries. Took him a good while to get back to form. Funny feeling he might sign a year extension to be honest. Another crack at Europe, a season free of injury, back to top form and then his big move. To potentially hold on to him for 3 seasons and then sell him for say £18million+ would be brilliant considering many saying he was away after his first

If Brown ends up injured, I’d much prefer Kouassi in there, over McGinn.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
I love your Impassioned response so I've broken it down..........

" That is a ridiculously stupid idea. " -- That's a genuine compliment for me, thanks.

" One why would you pay 1.5m for someone who’s 24 to loan him out? " -- He's 23, paying money for a player is the usual decorum - I've already stated in the post you quoted the reasons for loaning him out.

" secondly if you want to sign him next year let it be known you could get him for free as he’s out of contact" -- Nothing wrong with spreading our wealth among the SPFL , keeps it 'strong' - that fee could help Hibs regain McGeouch & Kamberi for next season

" Plus he isn’t close to being good enough for Celtic " -- after another seasons football I think he will :coelho:

Besides it doesn't matter what we think, by the looks of things those that matter at Celtic DO think he's good enough.
Above is my scenario in what I think would work
Your explanation only makes it seem even more stupid.
'ridiculously' stupid mate

Get with it

Linked with Lukasz Fabianski on twitter ;) -

Spoiler: click to toggle

And other links suggesting that if Skrtel goes to Newcastle we'll get Mbemba -

Spoiler: click to toggle

Fabianski would be upgrade. He is pretty decent with his feet. However, I think 5M+ would be better spent elsewhere especially since he is 33. 2 players competing with promising youngster is relatively strong position.

I think Mbemba will only be signed if we loose Jozo or Boyata. With Boyata going into last year he may be pushed out if he doesn't want to extend.

I don't know anything about Mbemba other than those highlights reels from YouTube. Is he an upgrade on Boyata?

Fabianksi is an awful keeper. No thanks. Gordon is by far a better keeper.

We should sign McGinn, then just ban him from playing football at all. Just to eff with the other clubs. Send him to the car park so he can do that weird arse based turn thing he does all day long.

John McGinn would be a waste of money. We have plenty of midfielders that are easily better than him so what’s the point?? Hayes was a waste of money and Hendry looking that way too. Another example of us not practicing what we preach in terms of only bringing in quality
