Everton looking to punt Schneiderlin, Klassen, Sandro, Mirallas, Williams, Garbutt, Galloway, Browning, Rooney, Bolasie, Niasse and Fines Mori.

A few of them might be worth a look. Wages though...
There is next to no point in us shopping down there.
Most of the guys on that list are in similar stages of their careers to that of Boyata and Sinclair before they joined us.
Most of them aren't on similar wages though.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Christie hasn't been given a run out, so naw
Christie didn't show up in the big games for Aberdeen. He should be punted this summer and use any money to buy 2 decent defenders.

I wouldn’t be so sure. Sinclair would have been on a fortune at Man City, so presumably Villa must have been paying him similar to get him to join them.

Where did you read this?
I think the new manager has said he left the door open for Rooney - Fines Mori, Garbutt, Galloway and Bolasie wont be going anywhere

We should look at Galloway if he is actually being moved on - Quality young player
Doubt Galloway is one they would move on. Gives cover to Bains at LB and is Engurland U21 international. Contracted till 2020.

I thought Klassen was destined for greatness when he left Ajax. Been surprised career has stalled. Will probably do well with right club. Well out of our range unless they want to do years loan to get his confidence back.

Think Galloway had a pretty miserable loan spell at Sunderland last season. That’s obviously prompted Everton to decide he’s not going to make it with them.

Of that list, only Tyrias Browning would be worth looking at, given he's young and a right back - the rest are a mix of being too expensive, past it or just not up to scratch.

Galloway was unbelievably poor with Sunderland last season and hardly figured after the first few matches,
Browning did a little better but was still very poor, albeit in a pathetic Sunderland side.
Both had not done well in loans the season before too.
Avoid.

To be honest, none of the players Sunderland loaned did well, it was a toxic situation and it's pretty difficult for a young inexperienced player to do well in those circumstances.

I think there is no chance BR will be looking for a RB

He will persevere with Lustig, Hendry & Ralston
Adios senor Gamboa :Bye:

Probably right about Gamboa, but I really can't see him sticking with just the other 3 at RB

Why "no chance"?

Lustig is getting on / injury troubled, Ralston is still raw and Hendry isn't a RB.
I think there is no chance that we don't have RB as first or second priority

Gamboa can, and will GTF though

Lustig is nearing the end of his time with Celtic, still effective on his dya though...Ralston IMHO will not make the grade here, Gambo I expect to move on

So we need someone to plat RB or at least to compete with Hendry who is probably happier in a Central defensive role.

We desperately need a RB.

Gamboa will be off.
Lustig is done.
Ralston isn't good enough.
Hendry isn't even good enough in his natural position.

It should be a priority area.

guess that BR agrees since we gave Ralston a long term contract less than a year ago

We are always too quick to write off our youngsters coming from the academy. Would like to see a bit more of Ralston before I launch him in the scrap.

right back is our most important position to fill this summer. Getting a good right back would instantly take the pressure off Tierney as we could use both sides of the pitch equally, instead of funnelling everything up the left. We will be a far better side if we could get a right back with energy and the ability to cross. Ralston and Hendry are not this.

No idea why we don't play Gamboa more, even just to give Lustig a rest. The argument that he isn't good enough doesn't really wash when we've got Hendry playing out there.

We really need a new right back.

Phil suggesting we will be unveiling 3 or 4 new players

Expects two of them to be Edouard and John McGinn. Says financials agreed with Hibs, who wanted Mikey Johnston on loan - which we said no to. Scott Allan may be part of the deal.

John McGinn ffs

Talk of him being on 24 appearances and 25 might cost us more money.
