The fake account probably has a better strike rate to be fair.
How the eff does a fake account end up with over 40,000 followers?
because some people , unfortunately, aren’t media savvy

I'd be happy enough for us to sign McGinn. I think there's a lot of room for improvement in his game but he seems like the type of character that would fit in well in our side.
Agreed. Brendan has also said he wants the bulk of his side to be Scots.
He may just mean that BR wants 10 really skinny foreigners and one really large Scotsman.
:ponder: Never thought of that!

Kris Boyd waits trembling by a silent phone, as a single tear weaves its way down his anguished face to drip uncaringly onto the sticky linoleum of the kitchen floor.

any rumours yet of a right back?
Got to wonder just how much playing alongside a seriously fading Lustig has been weighing down our right sided centre halves this season, needs to be number on priority IMHO

He did at some point anyway. I remember him saying that whatever country he worked in he'd want his squad to consist of players largely from that country. That might have been in his book I dunno :ponder:

CELTIC SET TO SECURE SUPERB DEFENSIVE SIGNING

As the dust settles on yet another remarkable season for Celtic, Brendan Rodgers and the club’s hierarchy could be forgiven for relaxing somewhat. With eyes set on improved performances in Europe and continued domestic domination, however, that is believed to be far from the case.

The pursuit of further summer recruits is very much on the agenda at Celtic Park, and it’s believed that the club’s manager wants deals tied up as early as this week.

One name that has been linked recently is that of Willem II’s Elmo Lieftink, a defensive-minded utility man with the ability to play across the backline and in midfield.

Despite being something of a late bloomer, only making his first senior start at the age of 22, Lieftink is believed to have made an impact on the Scottish giants’ scouts and, when looking at Willem II’s performances with and without him this season, it’s easy to see why:

(Can't get the picture in???)

The 24-year-old appeared in just 21 of his side’s 34 Eredivisie games this season, but the upturn in their performances in games in which he appeared was remarkable.

While average goals per game went up markedly and average shots conceded on their goal per game plummeted, the truly remarkable statistic was also the most important – win percentage.

Willem II’s ratio shot up by a stunning 23% when Lieftink was selected, helping the Tilburg-based club to claim 13th place in the Dutch top flight and, arguably, saving them from the ignominy of relegation in the process.

Brendan Rodgers is all about bringing the best out of players with the raw materials to succeed at the top level, and Lieftink certainly falls into that category. He may be something of a rough diamond but, at Celtic, he could become a true gem of a player and, for that reason alone, this is a transfer for Celtic fans to get excited about.

Yep. I’m into this.

Very rare that I fancy SPFL players for Celtic. Armstrong and Griffiths (loan, pedants) were probably the last two.

Think he has the potential to be Broony’s replacement, and is versatile enough to challenge Ntcham and possibly Rogic in the meantime.
er , no he's not. He couldn't lace the boots of either of them.
