If the Wilson story is true it would surely say we're not in the market for Paddy?
i dont think theres any chance of paddy coming back tbh. last year brendan was hopeful from all his quotes. this time round he and paddy seem to have made it clear its not happening

There are EIGHT and a HALF weeks left until the transfer window closes plus nobody really knows what transfer deals the club are pursuing (that’s as it should be !) ....

... and yet we get “weaker team” and "poor window” plus unfounded criticism of the club’s management and supposed targets etc., etc. ...

... have a word a few of you .. just because it’s not happening quickly enough for you doesn’t mean it’s not happening ! And i bet you opened your Xmas presents early !

You judge a season at the end - not before the first game’s played. Likewise with the transfer window - wait until it’s closed and then comment on how good or bad it was.
Probably been cutting and pasting that every window that someone says we need defenders.

Oh, I'll judge it at the end of the window.

Aye, well, I'll judge it when the ball is flying over Nit Bitton's nut for a free header for an away goal, thanks.

If he's fit.

im normally one of the calmest in the transfer thread during start/middle of transfer window but we have a much harder qualifying route this time rather than the usual 2nd round being as good as a by and we are missing half of our already much maligned defence. that is definitely a big worry

Brendan Rodgers is taking on Steven Gerrard in a bid to sign Liverpool’s Welsh wizard Harry Wilson.

Rodgers has asked his old club to let him have attacker Wilson on loan at Celtic for the season.

Gerrard is already in for Wilson, one of the first players he tried to do a deal for when he took charge at Rangers.

Liverpool are considering all inquiries and will demand rental fees are paid if Wilson does not play enough.

Gerrard wants Wilson in as soon as possible for the European campaign but knows he may have to wait for an answer.

But now Rodgers has joined the chase the battle is on and Liverpool face a dilemma as their old boss and skipper scuffle for their babe.

Hull City and Norwich City also want Wilson on loan and are prepared to take him and play him to avoid any potential cash penalties.

Yeah, don’t know if it’s because of a poor draw or the change in format but on paper we’ve got two tricky ties to begin with, followed by two potentially even trickier ties after that. The group stages seem a long way off at the moment and it’s looking increasingly likely that we’re going to be relying on the likes of Ralston and Hendry to begin with. Not quite panic station stuff yet but I think we all hoped we might have brought in a few more reinforcements by now.

Thankfully all those European qualifiers are after the deadline shuts then eh? Putting it in caps makes you look even more of a tit btw.
As the club also know when the European qualifiers are, they seem to be happy with what we have to manage those games.

If you don’t mind (and even if you do) I’ll put my faith in the club management that have won us back-to-back trebles rather than an anonymous keyboard jockey who sinks to puerile name calling.

I’ll let the posters decide who the tit is
