Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Has anyone claimed "he'll score for fun up here?"

I can't see it happening.
I'd rather have Andre anyway.
Agassi?

Something tells me he's only a target if Boyata goes.

FWIW, I was told around Febuary time that McGinn to us was a done deal (one of my relatives knows one of his relatives). Didn't hear the conversation so can't really vouch for it, but it seems to have leaked out all over the place since then anyway. I think it'll be a good signing. Rodgers wants athleticism and tenacity from his centre mids more than anything. That's why he hardly ever used Biton in that position, and why he didn't even look at Allen.

That aside, right back has got to be the priority. Lustig still has his uses but it'd be criminal for us to go into another season with him as 1st pick. People talk about Jack Hendry being 'cursed', the reason we never win when he starts is because, when he's on, we're invariably playing without a proper right-back which make us horribly one-sided and easy to defend against. We could become a far better team next year if we manage to find a right back who's actually an asset, rather than someone whose various shortcomings need to be accommodated.

This won't happen, but I think we should look to move Sinclair on. We shouldn't have him sitting on the bench on £30k p/w while McGregor's playing ahead of him for half that. We'd probably still get some takers for him in England, but another 6 months of poor form and we'll be stuck with him for the remainder of his contract. He's not got anything else to his game apart from his ability to run and dribble at speed, and he's not even had that since about last October, which is a bad sign when you're talking about a 29 year old. We're getting to the point where he'll have been mediocre/poor for almost as long as he was good.

left sided centre half i would add to the right back bit.

we've tried jozo there and saw big form dip, boyata was tried left side at ibrox was a big fat no and Ajer now playing there and its fair to say i think he looks awkward trying to tackle and is diving in earlier to try get the ball due to his discomfort.

one of those on the right and the addition of someone on left would help no end (i think that is what compper was supposed to bring to the party)

a friend of mine is related to someone at Celtic who says nothing at all anytime we meet them except a few weeks ago (i was hoping be some big name signing or something but wasn't that interesting sadly) anyway bit was said to us was Jozo wants out, wanted out in January and hinted he took the huff and this person would be amazed if Jozo is a Celtic player by September. way it was said didn't even sound like it was a big secret and was said to us as if we probably already knew.

nothing very sexy and those in the know on here likely already know this and even posted it so apologies if said before but its as close to inside info as i'm getting!

Seems like a good idea for all parties, especially as he's just won the league with them.

What was his incoming fee? Net loss, I’d be expecting.

Think £2.2m was mentioned at the time? Might be worth taking with a pinch of salt as the media often get the fees wrong.

Jordan Ayew interest looks credible as DR seems to have actual source. Replacement for Roberts?

Bottom of the Record Article says "Record Sport Online, however, understands Celtic are not pursuing a move for Ayew."

If there’s a chance to get a serious transfer fee for Gordon and free up his squad place for a potential upgrade, I’d go for it.
