Pretty underwhelmed at the thought of signing a right back Hull don't want who's been injured for 2 years to be honest.

What happened to only bringing in players who will improve or are better than the current crop? Sounds like more penny pinching to be honest.

Everyone knows we need another good centre back and quality right back to really improve the defence just go and pay for the right two players instead of trying to find a cheap deal and messing up 3 or 4 times before you find the right one.

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Surely a 'Blue Ribbon signing' would be a biscuit tin signing?

Thought we were trying to move away from that?
Phoning a Taxi for you...in 5,4,3,2,1....
We need to breakaway from this biscuit talk, the lad could be worth his weight in gold bars for all anyone knows.

Hull offered him a new contract, which he has refused.

In fairness, some of our best right backs in the last twenty years have been cheap or unknown quantities. McNamara, Agathe and Lustig probably cost about less than a million combined when you look at their fees. Price isn’t always everything.

I fear an Exodus of season ticket holders if we sign him and his knees are about as flexible as stone tablets.

Some comments online seem to suggest that the owners of Hull are what is causing all their players to want to leave and, by all accounts, Hull wanted Odubajo to stay. If he's actually over his injuries, then he could be a class signing. Something tells me he won't be, though. Just the miserable, seen-it-all-before part of me.

Spending money doesn't always guarantee success, nor does scouring the market for free transfers.

Barcelona signed Henrik Larsson on a free transfer. Man City paid 50m for John Stones.

If this guy is over his injuries, and I'd trust our medical team to establish his condition, he sounds like a player worth having.

Hope so but we’d be laughing if a certain other club had declared an interest to sign him.

The medical team seem to know their onions 're injuries, having advised on the Coetzee signing. So if this guy passes let's hope it works out for him.

Most agree its a key position that needs upgraded for the new season. Its highly unlikely this guy was high on the list of targets. Its another cheap option and i’ll predict lustig is our no1 right back again next season.

He's been fit since March, having been injured playing for Hull in a pre season friendly in July 2016.

Adkins has opted not to played him and has been holding out on getting him to sign a reduced deal, which he is perfectly within his rights to refuse.

His performance in the 15/16 Play Off Final helped get Hull to the Premier League, earning them tens of millions of pounds.

Hull will also have insurance in place.

Low risk and no fee involved.

Sounds worth it to me.

I suspect his pay packet while long term injured would be picked up by insurance company :)

IF he signs, please don't be another Marvin Compper
