Offer him for free if they take all of Brendan's brain farts off the wage bill.
Get him out of our club NOW.

Musonda (Granted never played much however was still seen as a high profile player)
Roberts
Armstrong

All gone in space of couple months. We are gonna do well to "leave this window stronger than we entered it" :ph43r:
Morgan
Christie
Hayes

All in/ back from injury.

Hayes and Christie aren't good enough. Morgan was a St Mirren player.

Roberts and Armstrong were key players when Celtic have been at their best under Rodgers.

If we're replacing musonda Roberts and Armstrong with those three we are getting conned.

I'll second that.

I think these players will be used in the early rounds of Europe and then moved on or back to being squad players.

Of course they do, to say 'he was a St Mirren player' means nothing.

what has that got to do with, the boy has not kicked a ball for us yet.

Paul Lambert once played for St mirren and done ok.

Christie’s form was up and down at Aberdeen last season and he made zero impact in the games I saw them play against Sevco. He may yet make it at Celtic but right now he doesn’t look like a suitable replacement for any of our first team squad.

I'd be happy if we can get McGinn, Denayer and Joel Ward in. Maybe even someone on the right to give Forrest competition/rest

Denayer's loan in Turkey is up and City apparently told him he's free to go. Brendan did say he was interested in Denayer last season but he had already given Galatasary his word. I reckon if a deal can be made there, he might just go for it.

Joel Ward is a cracking free transfer from a club that finished 11th in the EPL where he was first choice RB and won't command massive wages I wouldn't think. Tall, strong and solid but also gets involved going forward. Actually similar to a younger Lustig. I would he's on our radar!

It's a funny situation we find ourselves in. I think we've done some terrific business already this window with the new deal for Rogic and the signing of Edouard, and the rumoured extension for Griffiths. Yet we still find ourselves with a weaker squad than last season.

I can understand we need to move a few players on, we've a seriously bloated squad: Gamboa, Ralston, Simunovic, Compper, Christie, Hayes and Ciftci could all move on with absolutely zero impact on the starting team.

We're still lacking 3 real quality signings and cover for Tierney. We can all see it, I'm sure Rodgers can see and I'd like to think it'll be rectified sooner rather than later.

We've a squad full of young players who will be better for the experience of last season, I'd hope for noticeable improvement from all of them. I can envisage two decent sized fee arrivals yet and hopefully some semi respectable cover for KT.

Ciftci is gone already in a few days but there's maybe hope for one or two on your list yet.

Roberts gone,Armstrong on his way. We're now weaker as a team/squad.

Hopefully some good replacements on the way.
Weaker as a squad, not as a team. Some good replacements would be more than welcome though
Armstrong is a proven double figure goal scorer from midfield,i'd say weaker team.
He’s scored, on average, 5 goals a season across his career.

He’s scored 10+ two out of nine career seasons.

Don’t be citing his anamolous season at Celtic in 2016-17 as the norm. It’s far from it.

He’s averaged five goals a season if you include his teenage years where he made a handful of appearances per season! He’s got 23 goals in 98 games for Celtic - a ratio of almost 1 in 4 which is great for a midfielder. I’m not his biggest fan but we missed a goalscoring threat from midfield last season.

Christie has had a chance. The manager has seen fit to loan him out twice. Hayes is an average winger and no more. Morgan may yet surprise and I am more than willing to give him a shot at it. The point I was referring to is that those three better not be the replacements for the three we've lost otherwise there's a con in the midst. Hayes, Christie are nowhere near the calibre of Roberts/Armstrong.

Morgan hasn't kicked a ball in the top league yet. He's hardly Paul Lambert.

Roberts/Armstrong were key components of a Celtic team under Rodgers at its best. Hayes/Christie ( again initial context of point in mind ) would signify a massive drop in quality.

It's early yet, hopeful still of a replacement for Roberts and now one for Armstrong.

CalMac showed a lot of people know nothing about football, he stepped up and grabbed his starting place, scored some important goals. l'm happy to see Christie, Morgan and Hayes get a similar chance next season. Hoping that Morgan will put pressure on Sinclair to find his form to combine with his goals again.

Still expect a couple of signings to further boost the side and a big season from Kouassi should really see us pull well away from the pack domestically. Just need to show more composure and keep our shape much better in Europe.
