Does Madison play in the same position as Roberts?

He got roasted against PSG (which is no shame) and the Dundee United manager is a crackpot who managed who made a mess of the job. Hardly irrefutable evidence he's a player.
I notice you omitted Brendan Rodgers giving him a 4.5 year deal
How long a deal did he give Dorus de Vries?

That Iranian RB looked half-decent. He available?
The last time I saw a full back that I thought we should sign from the World Cup was Cha Du-Ri.... and we signed him. So, I'm put off with guys who look decent over a couple of games at the World Cup( In our price bracket)

There are always ordinary players who have a wee purple patch in these competitions.

He also gave Hayes, Comper and Musonda deals, which haven't exactly turned out well.

Brendan is capable of buying dross. As much as we’ve uncovered some gems - which we’ve had to pay big money for, our bargain basement buys like Compper, Hayes, Benyu, Hendry, Gamboa have been disappointing.

Bit different, Ralston is our player and he has seen him day in day out. Ralston has the attributes but at 19 he still has much to learn. He might not make it at Celtic but he is worth hanging onto.

Agreed. Some of the experts in here were calling for McGregor to be punted for a number of seasons - not saying Ralston will end up with the same development, but it is ridiculous to be calling for him to let go at this stage in his career.

The fact he was trusted to be put in against PSG was the point, one that you obviously missed.

Also do you think the Dundee Utd manager knows a bit about football?

Not sure what attributes Ralston has apart from being a big unit?
Don't think he will make it with us. He has a long term deal, plenty of time to prove himself if he indeed has the quality.
Still think we need an upgrade at right back.

He hasn't displayed any aptitude for the role of football manager at Dundee United.

Managers judge players wrongly all the time. Rodgers trusted de Vries against Barcelona and it was a disaster. He trusted him against Zenit and he blew it. He also gave de Vries a contact extension.

By your logic de Vries is a good player when it's clear he's hopeless and we don't need him.

Ralston is slow. That tends not to improve with age, especially with what we ask our full backs to do.

Harry Kane got sent out on loan 4 times , too young , not ready , not good enough, whatever .

This proves , beyond doubt , that young Ralston will in time be a top class player and be brilliant for us.

No, more of a natural 10.

You'll find De Vries was the Forrest player of the year the season before we signed him.

He's obviously not been able to handle playing for us but there was a player in there before he came to us which is totally different from what you're judging him on.

You are judging him on what he's done with us, Rodgers signed him on his form previous with him and at Forrest.

Announce a CB, RB and an unbelievably skilful playmaker.
