Continually telling yourself “It’s all about The Rangers” to try and convince everyone that the club (company?) isn’t at utter laughing stock :lolhuns:

From a Wonga type loan and a shirt deal with a lower end manufacturer to a 50m investment in a matter of months?

Aye right ye are. Jabba must have the easiest pr gig in the world
That he does, seeing as he’s just feeding moonbeams to huns/hun apologists who would happily churn out their own pro-hun propoganda anyway; via papers and broadcast media that are not interested in honest reporting. In which case I do wonder why they pay him so much, when Wham Gloves could do it and on Club 1690’s tab, too!

But seriously, if new money of any substance suddenly appears at Ibrox, Desmond & Lawwell better get some financial investigators on the case. No reputable ‘investors’ would touch that mob, not with the state they’re in and the challenges they face, and especially not with King in situ. We know the SFA will resolutely look the other way.

I want SG to take this gig, just to pay tribute to the one-and-only " Carlos Cuellar" commentator

Quite clearly another masterstroke by the unseen Fenian hand, planting a Manchurian candidate within the Huns.
Keep it to yourselfs, but the key signal will be "Erm Stevie...about that Warchest..."

The bears must be camping out already waiting for the messiah to arrive.
Gerrard has been given assurances of a "warchest and will be backed by Dave King with the money from the new investors he HOPES to secure in the coming days.
So no investment yet?

Deal close Steven Gerrard to Rangers: Liverpool legend on the brink of becoming Gers manager after getting ‘assurances’ – with police on standby for Ibrox unveiling
Liverpool icon Gerrard wants a war-chest so he can rebuild Rangers in the summer, and mount a serious challenge to champions Celtic next season

He’s also saying the big money is enough to secure second next season

Tam McManus on Twitter
And for this significant outlay ... (ignoring the fact they cannot break even), exactly what will be this investors return for second over third or fourth.

And when they've blown this on xfers and extra wages and fail to make European Progres ... what then.

I'm just amazed there's so many "businessmen" willing to chuck their hard earned down the shampooter ...   (Disclaimer: I still think it's moonbeams)

I thought the Parks were bad enough.

Some Celtic fans really need to take the head out the sand.

Yes the hun are a monstrous basket case (of assets) run by a shameless liar but there is no way Gerrard is taking the job without at the very least assurances on a slightly larger budget than Pedro et all.

If there's funding coming in it's almost certainly through some of dodgy Daves contacts.

They couldn't afford to sack Warbs and Weiry, to pay Barton off, to pay Pedro, to pay Alves/Pena weekly wage etc etc acording to literally hundreds on here.

I can't imagine it's that difficult to run a corrupt and ultimate rotten business when you are a tried and tested Glib.
More than Pedro got?

That wouldn't be hard. Celtic fans that think they paid 10m or anywhere close should pay attention.

Whatever the "truth" of those signings are, they didn't part with much and most likely are on a payment plan.

Stevie will get something, but it will not be much. Nothing near enough to mount a challenge even if he turns out to be manager.

I'm still backing Hibs for second next season. (subject to their summer xfer activity)

Ibrox tours all cancelled tomorrow. Additional police presence on standby.

FF creaming themselves for the announcement.

Be a laugh if it's administration.
Crossed my mind it could be that ... but wishful thinking.

Looking increasingly doubtful that it has anything to do with appointing SG as the manager

They’re already doing that thing they always do...setting expectations far too high; they’re doomed to failure from the start. Poor Stevie doesn’t stand a chance.
