Guidi's Dyche fantasy was laughable even for him.

Apparently it was all go until Burnley asked for 4 million pounds of compensation which Sevco 'baulked' at. What the eff did they think the compensation figure for a manager who is 7th in the EPL would be?

Embarrassing that we are supposed to take this crap seriously.
Guidi is repeating what Jabba has told him.

It's actually quite possible that they made the approach, asked how much they'd want to let him go and were given a huge figure to scare them off.

I tend not to believe the part about Dyche wanting the job, that smacks of someone filling in the blanks in an unrealistically positive way...
Is Dyche a known Hun in any way? Absolutely no chance he'd go to them unless he had some really strong affiliation with them.
He's 7th in the league in the prem right now with a team he's successfully managed for 6 years. Even if he was a staunch one - he isnae - he wouldn't be making that move.

Clyde SSB is for folk who find Talksport far too intellectual
Talksport are anti-Celtic.

Wouldn’t give them the time of day

And while I remember, Dyche only signed a new 4-year contract in January. And he’s been spoken as a potential replacement for Wenger. And possibly Leicester (he’s from nearby). And possibly Everton. He is probably the hottest English managerial prospect right now. Yet he’s going to give all that up to join sevco? Get a grip!

Oft times, it is impossible to discern this thread from the "Where should I put this?" (Strange stories from the crazy world of football) thread.

Stevie G
Sean Dyche
Investment
Red Bull
Fenway Sports
Arfield
Liverpool feeder

There is far more likelihood that King will crash the bus into administration before season’s end than any of this nonsense coming to pass.

Some screwball thinks he (Gerrard) has arrived at Prestwick Airport. Is Prestwick not exclusive to Ryanair?
Yes, and there are no arrivals from Italy today. http://www.glasgowprestwick.com/passengers/flights-and-destinations/arrivals/

So unless he's flying privately I'd suggest it's bull.

He will be arriving on a plane off the radar

Think people talking about an unnamed investors should read the papers again, there aren't any. The guff they're putting out (dictated by jabba) is that they stepped down to make way for the possibility of new investors should any miraculously appear. These investors don't exist and the possibility of getting any is the same as it has ever been... well, less in fact as the more indebted the club finds itself, the less attractive it will be and it must have been pretty unattractive in the first place. Dave King has travelled the world, begging bowl in hand almost constantly since his takeover of the board, and the money has now dried up (hence the Close loans).

He's tapped out, and he looks about ready to tap out. Rats are jumping the sinking ship and Stevie G to Rangers will collapse when the talks get onto money.

There is no positive news for Sevco, they're screwed.

He's actually quite a good candidate for someone to work in their system and would be a better hire than Gerrard.

However, if they don't get Gerrard and have to settle for him, he'll have zero credibility and will have next to no goodwill in the bank for any bumps in the road.

Guidi Dyche fantasy started last Wednesday night, a gun phoned in and said he was told at Hampden on the Sunday that Dyche would be the new boss. I started to laugh when Guidi says well he's took Burnley to Europe and there not much else he can do there, so maybe he wants a new challenge. Rangers are a massive club and he could win trophys up here . This is one of the main guys who laughted at anyone who said BR was coming to us. Now mark we had money, and in the CL ( play off stages) and BR was out of work and scoop was laughing at callers. Sevco have nothing but Dyche will walk if they pony up £4m sorry scoop. Last night he didn't want to speculate on why the 2 directors walked but for weeks has been speculating on massive investment in sevco

Was wondering why his name hadn't cropped up already. He ran rings around everyone including Sevco in the Championship.

Robinson is far too sensible a suggestion for the Huns to appoint him. He's gotten Motherwell to both finals this season and has put together a tough collection of bruisers. The Huns really need someone like that to instill toughness and to get results but that kind of appointment isn't going to sell season tickets. Their need to keep Ibrox full every week and keep the season book cash flowing is hampering them. HaHa.

Like Lord Nimmo Smith: "Even if they are the same club, which legally they aren't" cherry picking to suit the agenda.
