rumour that park and south park are going to exit also

leaves bennett who you'd expect to go if there were takeover panel issues

surrender no and king who don't exactly get on

robertson not on RIFC plc board ???

Very, very dangerous for Park et al to leave, given the resolutions granting the board the ability to issue new shares could easily see King dilute them to nothing.

Unless their loans for equity have cast iron guarantees.
Cast iron guarantees when GASL is involved. Ha

Des Kelly was on Talksport this morning talking to Alan Brazil about the Liverpool game and then moved on to SG. Did anyone hear it?

A few interesting comments i thought, AB pushed him after Kelly spouted the "Positive Talks have taken place and will continue over next few days" line and he said similar to Roy Hodgson message.

Kelly said that they had chatted last night and that SG is still waiting on answers to a few things including the usual "Whats his budget" but the next 2 peaked my interest as it seemed that SG or his people are asking the right questions. Who owns the Club? Who owns the stadium?

If SG is asking these questions and is still considering it then he is thicker than i though.
If Gerrard did indeed ask those questions, he has taken Roy Hodgson's advice and then some. I can sense a "Rangers is a great club and I'm proud to have been asked but for family reasons I can't take the job at this moment" answer shortly coming to a hun near you.

They're the right questions to ask- money and stability, decision making are hardly crazy things to consider. If SG rejects the job you actually wonder who they'd end going for.

If there is 'investment' for equity presumably, even £20 million, Klub 1690 will see their holding percentage halved. If there is another share issue they will be diluted further, probably to around 3%. It's a completely busted flush unfortunately. All that will be left will be battles for brown brogues, with last man standing enjoying perks, everyone else outside looking in, after years of direct debits.

He won't even be under consideration by Klopp - he's nowhere near qualified to step into those shoes.

All that matters is that he's a big name, which apparently annoys us & therefore qualifies him for the hun job ha ha ha

The Huns sense of entitlement makes them think that someone should just hand over money to their club. Like the previous incarnation they overlook small things like playing by the rules.
The fantasy that they are getting £50 million investment has them going mad. Gerrard will be able to sign a new team to stop 10. They forget that even if someone did have £50 million to invest who would be daft enough to get involved while King and co could fold sbouldered.
Anyone wanting to invest needs to buy King off, get a Nomad, get agreement from shareholders to dilute their holding, buy the shares to pay off the £20 million soft loans. They are desperate and gullible.
This is what annoys me most about the Hun. They can 'FTP', 'we are the people' and 'quintissentially Brithish' all they want but the fact remains they are the bare bones of a once formidable cheat. The constant rolling out of the 'new investment' line is what is sooooo annoying, it's not even just the absolute numbskulls who repeat it ad nauseum, it's supposedly educated folk in the press. Worst offender has to be BFDJ, the fat wink is always in the know about the coming huge investment on the horizon, what he forgets though, is that we turn the world now and the horizon is always going to be out of reach for them.
BFDJ is one of the thickest people ever shat into existence so it’s not too surprising he just spouts any old nonsense that is fed to him. There’s more intelligence and insight on the Rangers forums and they are almost totally populated by utter dafties. Timposters.

For all the talk of Brendan and gerrard being close, he is actually very close to hodgson. If roy is telling him to do "due diligence" he will be taking it on board.

Very odd. Of the multitude of questions a potential manager might ask, why would ‘who owns the club and stadium’ feature? Why would he GAF?
Those are the kind of questions I'd be asking if i wanted to flush out King as a lying, chancing bastard. Maybe Gerrard is a Tim after all..........

As usual, a thoughtful and informative post by Barcabhoy. He's made it on TSFM. Unfortunately I can't get a link for the post itself, but it's currently the last one on the current blog. Maybe someone can help and post it for others, please.

 in anticipation.

Edit spelling. And add- hope this works

And that would be why ( much as it may have annoyed us at times) we should be grateful for Fergus onwards who kept the spending under control and built a sustainable organization.
Absolutely. I see it like this. The Huns are like someone who won big money on the lottery and quit their job and studies on the back of it. Bought a huge mansion, loads of fancy cars and pointless bling.

Meanwhile, Celtic stuck in and, over time, have become hugely successful independently to the point where they could have all of the same stuff as the Huns but actually afford it.

Now that the Huns have spent all the lotto money, had to pawn the cars and 5e bling and remortgage the house with a local loan shark because none of the banks will touch them, they are crying out about the unfairness of it all. They think that Celtic’s success is the same as their success, built on sand.

Problem is, we can actually afford this because we built from the ground up, losing leagues along the way but always advised to trust in the long term project. Their answer? Buy more lottery tickets.
That's brilliant.

Gerrard is using Sevco to increase his chances of getting the new No 2 role at Liverpool. They're in the CL final now. Klopp will want someone like Gerrard in that dressing room before kick off. Think of the psychological lift it will give the squad getting a team talk from the guy that was 3-0 down at half time and went on to lift the trophy.

I'm telling you, Gerry bhoy is about to con the conman and the huns will implode - again.

Souness seems to think not having a clue is a good idea:

'Stevie, you have absolutely no idea what it is like'. Well, he probably hasn't, but that is not such a bad thing.

"Can you imagine Rangers players being coached on the training pitch by Steven Gerrard? He walks into the dressing room and he immediately commands total respect."

Get those truthfully answered and I'll honestly need a new flabber. My current one will be well and truly gasted.

Get tweeting SG.

EDIT - SG will be wanting to know why he's negotiating with the guy who buys the stock for their shops.

With that logic it’s also ‘imagine the team talk he could give sevco 3-0 down at half time’

If he takes this, it’ll be hilarious - for their fans especially as they go all in again - Stevie G for 55 - they’ve no choice - they’re so so excited at the moment that media in England are talking about them - on telly! Their confusing relevance with a temporary freak show

If he is doing his due diligence he can’t possibly agree to it - TAke Over Panel
Issue to be resolved before any sort of share issue that ‘might’ raise money - it’s gonna take a wee while

Gerrard has no chance of being klopps number two. So its highly illustrative that he is in with a real chance of managing sevco.
