You'd have though Scott would be looking for his money back

Which would be added to others who are looking to King for money

Don't think Murray was in King camp

Stewart Robertson is one dealing with negotiations with Gerrard with meeting at Stevie G's house in liverpool on thursday

This looks so much like a King squirrel but there is a chance it is a clearout and new investor (albeit a slim one)

The only down side is that there are less clowns to laugh at. Then again, if GASL has a say in their replacements, there will be much more hilarity to follow. :lolhuns:

Its incredible people still quote this John James guy as being a respected source, the guys clueless.

If Murray and Scott were leaving off the back of ''major investors'' coming in you can bet your last penny that theyd be grandstanding about it to one of their media lackeys. The fact they haven't is just another example of complete and utter disarray going on there while their huge squirrel in Gerrard takes the attention elsewhere
:ponder: I think you'll find that that's exactly what John James has been saying.

His wingman, The Mensch, says he's heard the managerial lineup will be Gary McAllister and, wait for it, Alex Miller. How good would that be?
Is Miller still at Liverpool as Chief Scout?
He left there a decade ago. He also turns 69 in July.

According to a poster earlier SG is a King project, most of the board want Steve Clarke. With potless and bang being King men does that mean they are moving away from SG as manager. The guy not asking much if rumours are true 😂

The huns really need to get their heads around the difference between an investment and a gift.

It will probably help them understand why no-one is in a hurry to part with their hard earned.

If GASL was to jump ship and resign from the board would that free him from his responsibility to making the share offer?

If after hearing the news about the Directors exits SG doesn't ask the question why and takes the opposite of what King says as the truth then hell effing mend him. He'll deserve everything he gets including being laughed at, abused by his own supporters and sent to the frozen wastelands of managership.

I'm sure there are lots of more deserving teams in English lower leagues whose MO would suit Gerrard to a tee and would help him climb the managerial ladder.
Apparently MK Dons (who he turned down) and Ipswich are the only ones to have been in any way strongly linked to him. Kinda suggests the jury's out (to put it kindly) on his potential managerial skills....

Apparently not. He has to make a bid to avoid contempt of court. And the interdict prevents him from offloading the shares he has until the bid is made. He's as fecked as the new club. Some speculation that at least £4m worth of shares will be sold to him at 20p per share if and when he makes the offer. I would have expected it to be more after Sunday's debacle.

He wants his £20m back that David Auchenhowie conned him out of.

Potless Paul and Cillit Bang Barry were Kings' men

GASL's control has been reduced, though he still controls Jabba and the Klan leaders

If it is to be Gerrard then you would think it might be better for any assistant manager to be someone who, y'know, has some semblance of an idea what he is doing in management and coaching at top leam level?

McAllister is probably staunch enough, but his wages probably dent an already overstretched football transfer and salary "budget".

The thing about him is that his coaching record is not very good. Lost a third tier play off final as manager of Leeds and sacked six months later. A pretty short and ill fated spell as Aston Villa assistant manager and then three short months as a coach under Brendan at Liverpool before he was sacked. He's got the makings of a Davie Weir type calamity. Bring it on.

Splendid. And with each passing day the entity he has to make an offer on becomes even more rancid and worthless.

Nope - I seem to recall the original ruling made that clear.

The Takeover Panel are forcing him to carry out their original instruction in its entirety - ie a full offer to buy the rest of the shares at the highest price in the preceding six months, with the full potential value of the transaction backed by funds held in escrow (and seemingly backed by third party confirmation that this is in place)

With the Sevvies hovering somewhere between stage 4 (depression) and 5 (acceptance) on the Kubler Ross model, I wonder how long it will be before some more radical thinking is deployed to stop Declan lording it over ra peepul.

Something like gate sharing to make the league “more competitive”. I can almost read that Keef Jackson column already.
I think 1 point for a win 2 points for a score draw and 3 points for a scoreless draw would work :)
Applied retrospectively ?
