He might demand it but he'll no' be getting it!

If, as it seems, he's at least actually considering taking the job, you have to wonder just what King has told him is available and how much of it is even remotely true.
It's no skin off Gerrard's nose to be talking to the huns.

It gives him widespread publicity which plays to his ego, acknowledgement that someone of significant standing thought he could be a manager, ( albeit of a basket case ) practice at due diligence and negotiating, and the opportunity to show future would be suitors that he is a suitable candidate for consideration.

It's free advertising for him and his future aspirations. Why wouldn't he engage in talks with them.

If his advisors do their job properly they will undoubtedly unveil the catastrophic condition of sevco's finances.

What Gerrard does beyond that will define the kind of individual he is.

My money is on him performing a gracious thanks but no thanks.

I reckon he’ll take it

Its incredible people still quote this John James guy as being a respected source, the guys clueless.

If Murray and Scott were leaving off the back of ''major investors'' coming in you can bet your last penny that theyd be grandstanding about it to one of their media lackeys. The fact they haven't is just another example of complete and utter disarray going on there while their huge squirrel in Gerrard takes the attention elsewhere
Don’t forget Paul Murray is a fan of courageous journalism so aye.

No. There's never good news at Ibrokes. Only fake news.

If GASL is being forced out, he won't go quietly or without doing yet further damage.

:notmissingthis:

Edit to add: If Park wins control, I think he'll want to run Sevco as a sustainable business.

Regardless, they are effed.

the sevco St Atement is the only one they've ever issued which doesn't rant and rave about being a massive club, enemies etc. Must be whole shampoostorm going down judging by the easy going backslapping and warm thanks.

Huns speculating that their removal was part of Gerrard's request. As if he had ever heard of them. Muppets.

:ponder: I think you'll find that that's exactly what John James has been saying.

His wingman, The Mensch, says he's heard the managerial lineup will be Gary McAllister and, wait for it, Alex Miller. How good would that be?

Not being that clued up on the ins and outs of high finance - all this talk of major investment how does that work?

Here is 100 million pounds company Sevco do with it as you please- A gift , a loan i.e what is the legal status of this investment?

Or would it mean buying up all the shares?

On Sevco forums it is just this talk of it "must means investment" as if it is just someone giving them piles of dosh.

What in legal or practical terms does this "investment" mean.

Hun in work "We're starting to become a laughing stock"

"starting" :rubeyes:
The way they vent their spleen at the players shows how clueless a lot of the WATP brigade actually are, in that they don't seem to realise that the problems all stem from the Boardroom and what they see on the pitch is a result of their chronic lack of any sort of decent leadership at the top level.
Long may it continue though.

In Huns-speak, "investment" means a gift / donation of pyoor mullions

The investor loses the lot

Having caught up on the latest developments can I ask one thing...

Can we stop posting about "money laundering".

The whole point of money laundering is that "dirty" money goes in one end of the process and comes out as "clean" money at the other end. The person doing the laundering is happy to take a hit on the amount of money coming out as it is now "clean". So if for example they have to pay tax on the money they are delighted.

At the moment all that happens at Ibrox is that money goes in at one end as loans and dross comes out on the pitch.

Until someone can explain how money is coming back out of this process for "investors" can we please drop the money laundering chat.

Interesting that Murray and Scott have resigned. Is it a coincidence that both will be registered with the Financial Conduct Authority?

FFP doesn't allow someone to just invest millions without buying shares. Hence why PSG owners can't just invest another billion to clear up the balance sheet.
