Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
It was reported yesterday. The priest was interviewed in the BBC HQ and excerpts were broadcast. I'm not sure why the BBC would be reporting yesterday's news again today at 6.30pm? It still appears on the main page of Scottish news on the website. The story is appalling; it not being on today's Reporting Scotland really isn't where the focus should be.
It was the main story on BBC Scotland lunchtime news, including the 'fact' that the OO said that this bigoted act had no connection to them - almost as if they acknowledged something had happened, but not part of the 'parade.' Maybe, as it's a live investigation, BBC Scotland refrained from reporting any update in later bulletins Maybe the BBC dropped the story after lunchtime on account of OO saying it wisnae them.
Nothing to see Timmy, move along.

Interesting news values on the BBC Scotland 630 news
A woman who disappeared 42 years ago makes the headlines
An assault on a clergyman 2 days ago doesn’t make the headlines
Clocked that myself...not a mention. An imam or a jewish priest attacked...think we all know it was news worthy...i see the petition is now up to 30k.... Exactly Place would explode.

SHHHHH....KUPI WILL BE DEALT WITH GER-HARD STYLE
New boss simply cannot fail by BARRY FERGUSON
If you are asking me, Rangers will go all the way to the Europa League final this season and I don't say that with a brain.
With new manager Steven Gerrard at the top of the marmite staircase, the sky is the limitation for my old club.
I am like a bairn in a sweat shop waiting on Thursday night when Gerrard's first competitive game as Rangers boss will take place. I remember my first European match for my old club like it was yesterday. Standing in Melbourne on that pre-season training camp made my loyal knees knock together somehow making the tune of Rule Brittania. I will never forget it.
So that's why Gerry's men should savour every moment of this week and the match against Scooby. Although in my day it was always "shaggy", especially if we went to Prague on duty!
Mind you, there were always a few Daphne Broons as opposed to Thelmas.
Listen, the banter is great on European trips and I envy the Rangers lads as they pull on their blazers and polish their brogues ahead of a magnificent adventure. We are back, that's for sure, and Scott Brown is pish. I read it on my i-Pad. Right. Listen.

I thought that Gerrard was going to speak to Alves when he returned from leave after his world cup duties? According to this he has had a medical and agreed terms with Parma.
BRUNO IS OFFSKI Rangers star Bruno Alves ‘terminates’ Ibrox contract ahead of Parma move, according to reports The Portuguese defender could be set to take on international team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in Serie A if his move to Juventus is agreed
Spoiler: click to toggle By Gary Taylor RANGERS and Bruno Alves have reportedly parted company. Sky Sports Italy have reported that both parties have struck up an agreement to end the Portuguese defender’s contract early. Alves has been heavily linked with a move to Italian side Parma and the move now looks set to go ahead. He has already agreed terms with the Serie A newcomers and has passed a medical. Alves spent just one year at Ibrox after being brought in by fellow countryman Pedro Caixinha and will now leave his contract a year early. The 36-year-old has just returned from Russia after suffering a round of 16 World Cup defeat with Portugal. He was an unused substitute. The stopper could be set to come up against international team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who looks set to join Juventus from Real Madrid. Alves made 25 appearances for Gers, scoring two goals. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2906951/rangers-bruno-alves-ibrox-contract-parma-move/

Work permit issues to get two two guys on loan.
Umar Sadiq and Lassana Coulibaly set for Rangers loan moves as club beat Euro signing deadline Defender Bruno Alves is also set to depart Ibrox to join Parma.
Spoiler: click to toggle ByMichael Gannon Steven Gerrard is set to complete deadline busting deals for Umar Sadiq and Lassana Coulibaly - while Bruno Alves is on the verge of negotiating an Ibrox exit and heading to Parma. The Rangers boss has until midnight on Wednesday to add to players to his squad for the Europa League clash with Shkupi on Thursday. Record Sport understands Roma striker Sadiq jetted in to Glasgow on Monday night and is expected to sign a season long loan tomorrow. Attacking midfielder Coulibaly is also poised to join him for the campaign after making the move from French outfit Angers. Gers were confident of landing the duo but were left to sweat on the Euro deadline as both deals needed to be rubber stamped due to work permit issues. The Ibrox club have cut through the red tape however and will get the signings completed in the next 24 hours and take Gerrard’s summer recruitment drive to nine. Alves is expected to depart as he looks to cut short the remaining year in his contract. The Portugal international is a target for Parma, with sources in Italy suggesting the 37-year-old will be allowed to rip up his Rangers deal to make the move. New arrival Sadiq will make the move in the opposite direction and has been a top target for the Light Blues gaffer Gerrard however after Serie A Roma made the 21-year-old Nigerian youngster available to go on loan. The £2.5m signing from Spezia in 2016 spent last term at NAC Breda in Holland but is under contract until 2020 in Rome and the Italians are keen for the kid to continue his development. Mali international Coulibaly came through the ranks at Bastia in France and moved to Angers for £1.8m last summer. The 22-year-old was a target for French outfit Metz but has opted to make the season long switch to Scotland. Gerrard is set to have both available to join the squad to face Shkupi - along with the seven new signings. Gerrard has added Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Jon Flanagan, Nikola Kadic, Connor Goldson and Ovie Ejaria while making Jamie Murphy’s temporary move permanent. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/umar-sadiq-lassana-coulibaly-set-12886296

Umar Sadiq is supposed to be quite decent, isn't he? Hardly a blistering and consistent career profile ... He could be anything and I doubt anyone has heard of him until now.
He's so good Torino failed to spot it, and passed on their option to make him a permanent signing?
Granted his stats for last season do look good, but I don't watch German games nor do I know the quality of the opposition those stats were achieved against?
So begs the question, why would he come to Sevco? Other than money, to play some easy domestic games and enhance his stats? Also it would appear nobody else is really interested enough in him.
