It takes real genius to organise a pre season friendly against a lower league English side at the same time as a World Cup quarter final. I presume they couldn’t have it tomorrow as it clashes with their cultural festival.

I'd like us to do an orange top.
Might go towards showing that no-one is really bothered & that it's a nice colour?

Just off the underground and it looks like the “let’s go” troops are arriving early for the glamour friendly. Tell you what, if their marketing guys get their act in gear and get these kits out charging per inch of cloth they will make our CL money look like chicken feed.
I swear I saw a wummin’ with Giovanni Van Bronkhurst on the back of her top and it didn’t touch either shoulder.

Just sent the following message to Hummel:

I am contacting youl to express my disgust at your decision to produce two strips for Rangers FC that demonstrate clear allusions to that club's disgraceful history of anti-Catholicism.
Rangers achieved notoriety in world football for their decades-long policy of not employing Catholics; a policy that only came to an end in 1989. However, sickening sectarian attitudes have continued to be displayed among its supporters and, indeed, club directors.
Much of this religious hatred aligns with the Orange Order, an avowedly anti-Catholic institution which stages marches in Scotland and Northern Ireland, mainly during July, to commemorate a 1690 battle that they associate with a belief in Protestant supremacy.
The two most visible emblems of the Orange Order are a sash and the colour orange. It is no coincidence that those two symbols now feature on Rangers strips in a flagrant attempt to cash in on religious bigotry.
I can well understand if Hummel were unaware of much of this. However, there is no doubt that Rangers FC and its directors were very, very aware of the inflammatory significance of these emblems.
Should production of these strips go ahead, Hummel will reveal itself as cynical exploiters of religious intolerance. In which case, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Yours Sincerely,

Celtic Joe
:lmao: eff sake.

Next you will be producing an enemies of Celtic list. It’s a effing strip, laugh at the bigoted arseholes and move on.
Wgaf what colour of strips they wear ? It's up there with painting over green railings and green traffic lights when you start with that pish! Let the huns deal in that sort of crap. An email to Hummel indeed, get a effing life!

... Orange (Mandarin) coloured ...
What do you mean here mate?

I'm just catching up so forgive me if everyone else knows what it means. I gather the huns are going with an orange shirt again but, specifically, what do you mean when you say 'Orange (mandarin) coloured'?

Who cares about the colour of their strip?

The only relevance it has is as a sign of how financially desperate they must be to resort to it.

An orange strip and a white sash type number are political statements albeit subtle ones (as a tonne of bricks) UEFA ban political statements in football. Ban them. We got fined for supporting political causes even though the club never encouraged it and ultimately banned the green brigade for it.
We live in a society now where things that were tolerated in the 60s, 70s and 80s are no longer and rightly so.

As much as I am personally not offended by this the bodies that deemed songs sung by us and Rangers not acceptable must have a view on the production of an orange strip for no apparent reason other than to appeal to the knuckle draggers of the orange lodge and their Masonic brothers.

I look forward to the media having a pop at them in much the same way as they like to berate us when we are deemed to have misbehaved.
Orange strips this year, next year? Ku Klux Klan hoodies?

https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2891122/rangers-alfredo-morelos-fenerbahce-rejected/

"And now it is being reported that Ibrox chiefs have rejected an undisclosed offer for the 22-year-old – insisting the player is not for sale."

:lolhuns:

Defiant King has put his foot down. No longer will Rangers sell their best players to anyone, nor will they accept derogatory offers for player who has already been the subject of a £15million Chinese bid. King has made a line in the sand, and painted NO SURRENDER behind it. Make no mistake Timmy - Dave King will not be bullied by the agents of anti-Rangers and their twisted agenda.

THE RANGERS ARE BACK. WATP.

Orange Celtic top with green around the collar and cuffs, green shorts with orange trim and green socks with orange trim. Work some white into the top somewhere.
