Good way to maximize profit. Declare that the player you're trying to offload is behind a 36 year old that was only ever average at best and a League Two reject. Interesting tactic. Lets see how it pans out. 200k undisclosed

Was reading last night that regarding the rangers badge in all of our 3 new hummel kits, there's a flaw at the bottom of the F seemingly! Has anyone else noticed this or heard this? I'm led to believe it will be getting spoken about with the rangers hierarchy today!
Haven't got a clue what they are talking about but they seem upset ah

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Is their third kit (Mandarin) their European top? Their first European qualifier is on the 12th July. Imagine the ticket sales Dave could get from the Hun horde to see their team play in mandarin on the 12th!
Mandarin orange....... To perhaps plagiarise a worthy comment on the vaping campaign of a few weeks ago, how about 'Newcozade Orange?'

Let them get their orange strips and tweet about orange walks. It only handcuffs them to bigots and stops them growing their fan base. Increasingly toxic in normal society Spot on. Let them live in the 17th century. No one aside from the knuckle draggers and the sycophantic media perceives them as anything other than an embarrassment.

I think their new strips are hilarious.. I wish they would go full on and make it like a suit jacket with an orange v neck. Black shorts and black socks . If their players came on to the pitch doing a proper uncoordinated, but very staunch, march I think I'd pish myself...

Although the club refused to comment, Keith tells us that a club insider said: “Dave King is bewildered by the ruling and has made it abundantly clear the funds are there to make the offer but because there is the insistence that the money be placed in the UK and because Mr King is a South African resident, there are exchange laws which must be observed.” Rangers owner Dave King facing contempt of court proceedings over failure to pay £11m shares billThe court papers have been issued after Dave King missed a deadline to come up with the money. Spoiler: click to toggle By Keith Jackson Stephen Stewart Craig Robertson Rangers owner Dave King is facing court sanctions over his failure to pay an £11million shares bill. The South African-based businessman was ordered to pay the money by business watchdog the Takeover Panel and Court of Session after being judged to have breached their rules in his purchase of the Ibrox side. But in a document issued earlier today, the panel said contempt of court proceedings had been launched against King after he missed a deadline to come up with the money. The Takeover Panel’s hearings committee chairman Michael Crane QC said: “In the event, process in the contempt proceedings appears to have been served on Mr King in South Africa on 8 June, 2018.” It’s unclear what this now means for the contempt of court action – a breach of court rules which can lead to a fine being issued and in the most severe cases a jail term. Rangers sources described King as being “bewildered” by the action. The Takeover Panel ruled in 2016 he had worked “in consort” with a trio of businessmen – the so-called Three Bears – to take control of Rangers by acquiring a combined 34 per cent stake. His takeover with fellow fans Douglas Park, George Letham and George Taylor saw King lead a boardroom coup to oust the Mike Ashley-influenced regime more than three years ago. They said that breached the 30 per cent barrier that triggers a mandatory buyout offer according to UK rules. The panel took King to court last year after he flouted their demand that he offers 20p a share to purchase the remaining stake – a sum of about £11million. King’s lawyer told a hearing in the Court of Session last year that his client was “penniless” because his money was tied up in offshore and onshore trusts in the King family name. But in February this year, he was ordered to make the payment by the court and a month later it was revealed a company called Laird Investments (Proprietary) Limited would make the share payment. It was said Laird was a South African-based company owned by a trust which King and his family are beneficiaries. The Takeover Panel document said they ordered King to have a third party UK account opened on Laird’s behalf so they had the “necessary cash confirmation”. They said King later emailed them to say Laird was having difficulty negotiating South African “exchange control regulations” for transferring money out of the country and later asked for an extension of the deadline – something later refused by the Takeover Panel. The panel went on to say that King missed the deadline for the money to be transfer and told how they had emailed King of “intention to initiate contempt proceedings” if that happened. Last night, attempts were made to contact King through his business interests in South Africa. Rangers Football Club declined to make a statement. But a club insider said: “Dave King is bewildered by the ruling and has made it abundantly clear the funds are there to make the offer but because there is the insistence that the money be placed in the UK and because Mr King is a South African resident, there are exchange laws which must be observed.” https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/rangers-owner-dave-king-facing-12855290 really hate the poor journalism in this country sometimes. They had printed a Q and A with him on May 8th where he states two weeks prior to this they had asked him to put it in a UK bank account.
Yet the TOP document clearly shows he was told at the end of March, it was explained again in April and he actually agreed to start the process on the middle of April with Investec.
Caught yet again lying yet they come out with comments such as " Dave King is bewildered"
carrot is lying once again and the SMSM do eff all and the SFA just sit there will one of their clubs chairman is in contempt of court to the highest court in the land.

I know huns and logic don't really go together but the McGregor-Foderingham situation is really an odd one. They had glaring weaknesses all over the pitch and though he's not brilliant, from what I saw Foderingham was one of their better players and the goalkeeper position should have been well down the list of priorities.
I can only imagine it's a money thing - though would McGregor be on less? I'm not sure - where they thought they could get a good fee for him? Though if that's the case, why put out the latest story that he's third choice? Perhaps it's best to just sit back and take it all in for the shambolic - though entertaining - mess it is, rather than understand it.

They've given up on the "sellick squad urnae even that good" narrative and turned to devaluing their current players (further) in order to try and make new arrivals magically appear one or two levels better than what they had last season.

Fat sha55er turns up looking to top up his pension and Foderingham was one of their best and most consistent players. One of the few players they had that can be turned into cash . But in serving it up to billy as losing their third choice goalie they shoot themselves on the foot over valuation.
Oh what a tangled web we weave

SunSport understands Steven Gerrard is willing to listen to offers for goalie Foderingham. He’s been first choice since signing from Swindon in 2015. But the 27-year-old won’t accept being pushed down the pecking order and is certain to leave. Northern Ireland full-back Lee Hodson could also be on his way out of Ibrox, with Rotherham interested in taking him on loan. Meanwhile, Gerrard has targeted Millwall stopper Jake Cooper. He has placed the ex-England Under-20 centre-half on his summer transfer wishlist. It’s believed the versatile defender is aware of Gers’ interest, and could be brought in as a replacement for Bruno Alves. Veteran stopper Alves is on the verge of agreeing a move to Serie A outfit Parma. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2883857/wes-foderingham-rangers-allan-mcgregor-third-choice-jak-alnwick-transfer-news-lee-hodson/
Inventive way to bump up any potential fee, announce him 3rd choice keeper in the first week of July. Strong negotiating position.
It's crazy economics. He is probably one of their bankable players, and one of the squads best performers over the years. They've simply weakened their negotiating position, which is bonkers. If he does go, I wonder if he'll have a wee pop at the club/support after they slaughtered him for that tweeted picture of him in the new Glasgow derby game where they lost heavily? They went down a similar route with McKay, blamed Caixinha and vowed never to let it happen again. The difference here is Fozzers signed a new deal months ago now they look to be forcing him out, it's bizarre.

The bookies appear to be giving odds on Defoe signing. Of course they are. The Jermaine Defoe that signed a 3 year deal last summer with Bournemouth worth about £130k a week? That Jermaine Defoe?
