Takeover Panel rejects King's timewasting request to convene the Hearings Committee.

Panel Statement

Bang goes the share issue (not that I ever believed a glib and shameless liar that it would happen).
By not instructing Investec to seek exchange control approval and asking them to approve the Danish Saxo Bank route instead, it appears that he's reluctant to put his money anywhere near the share issue.
He has no intention of paying for the share issue. He's basically ripping the pish out of the takeover panel.

I think I recognise one of the players in the ad.
Same, here, but not sure. Are they new additions, the players?

I wonder whether a person can be deemed "fit and proper" while they are behind bars?

So

Why do they want an orange strip ?

No Dutch contingent like the last time

So whats with orange ? And why are they so excited about it

I’m sure the MSM will explain this to me

By the way if the could get sponsored by a company called FTP - they’d do it just to sell more jerseys - shameless

A crass move to fuel bigotry and gain favour with the knuckle draggers. Sensationally bad taste move.

Some really outstanding Bear on Bear action taking place these last few days.. Bridgeton RSC twitter demanding the zombie SLO stand down amidst claims the Louden are snaffling blue pounds and away tickets.
They've been going on about this on RM for the last week.

Seemingly if a pub ran a supporters bus it had to be running for a few seasons too qualify for match tickets.

The Louden has decided to run a supporters bus and is about first in the queue for tickets according to them. The SLO or his son runs The Louden.

Their main concern over this seems to be about the SLO or his son running the bus as they won't allow drink on the bus or their "traditional songs" to be sung, if the fans do any of that they feel that the SLO or his son will "grass" them to the club / police.
I’m pretty sure the SLO retweeted an orange march on their official twitter account

Genuinely these plonkahs think they are getting one over on the rest of us with this nonsense  A total embarresment, beautifully finished off by a hissy fit from Edgar claiming Timmy is the real bigot on twitter.

Oh deary, deary me.

The statement seems to indicate that the TOP has initiated contempt proceedings.
My guess is that procedurally they may have lodged a motion asking the Court to ordain the GASL to appear and explain his failure to obtemper the Court Order in question. They would need to set out in writing a prima facie case which in this case would be a simple exercise :

1. The Court granted an order on [date] in terms of which the GASL was obliged to [insert obligation].

2. As at [date] the GASL had not yet complied with said order.

3. On [date] the GASL was written to asking for an explanation regarding his failure to comply with said order.

4.On [date] the GASL responded with the explanation that [insert the GASL's pish]

5. It is submitted that the GASL's explanation does not amount to a reasonable excuse for failure to obtemper the said Court order.

6. The Court is asked to ordain the GASL to appear in Court so as to explain his failure to comply with said Court Order.

"One of the trends over the last few years in civil fraud cases has been the increase in applications to the Court for defendants in civil fraud proceedings to be committed to prison for contempt of court (“Committal Applications”)"

https://www.kingsleynapley.co.uk/insights/blogs/dispute-resolution-law-blog/its-only-a-court-order-who-cares-contempt-of-court

Given that King is the first person ever to force the TOP into this kind of action, I think it's highly possible that he will be detained, at least till the hearing (which seems to be a shoe in for TOP) After that, I don't know.

"6. Accordingly, when the Executive does not stipulate a time limit for requesting a review of a ruling, one month from the date of the event to which objection is taken is the maximum allowed for notifying a request to convene the Committee unless the Executive extends that limit.....
It is also apparent from the correspondence that it was not until 11 June 2018 (more than six weeks later) that Mr King made a request that the Committee be convened to review the Executive’s decision to refuse an extension of time." But we urra peepil

The full decision is right rivetin' read ...what a dirty lying toad the GASL is, but it's got him nowhere in this matter

I was involved in a civil case and a non UK resident was ruled to be in contempt of court and a 12 month prison sentence awaits him if he ever sets foot in the UK again. This was a financial case. In summary yes a prison sentence can be handed down as judges take cases of contempt seriously as it is basically like poking them in the eye with a stick.

The Huns can pick what ever colour they want for their away top, we know why they did it they think it's a GIRUY to us but it's so petty it's funny.

It's the same reason why they cut our allocation at Ibrox it's to distract them, Charles Green managed it, he went from being utterly reviled to universally loved by saying Rangers being sent to division 3 was because of bigotry.

**I'm paraphrasing what Chuckles said before anyone starts with the being sent to division 3 / new club stuff
