Indeed. Who, just who, is James Bay?
Old geezer ...used to be in Top Gear. No, he is a singer from about 20 years ago I think. Doing the Radio Clyde Roadshow.

Huns creaming themselves over James Bay playing "Simply the Best" at TRNSMT yesterday.
Been a good week for them with that and the news our game isn't on the telly on the first day of the season. The real quiz.
They've got some no mark arsehole and we've got Roger Waters.
Indeed. Who, just who, is James Bay? It was reported in The Sun that James Bay had sang a Tina Turner classic, now the Huns see him as one of their own.
Fuds.

"more punters have backed rangers to win the league than even Celtic" That may even be true, but it takes no account of the delusion of your fellow zombies, or that you'd struggle to get £10.50 back from your tenner by backing Celtic.
Thats a certainty I wouldn't put a tenner on us to win the league to get £11.00 back 8 months later but if anyone was daft enough and drunk enough they might stick a tenner they found in the street and stick it on the huns to get a couple of hundred back in 8 months. 10% return in 8 months is pretty good What would be the maximum you could invest in this certainty?

Say you have to invest £1000 to make it worthwhile (even then I wouldn't have the patience to wait for £100).
How many people have £1000 at disposal?
Now how many daft huns do you think will be parted from a scheidt stained tenner thinking they are quids in for a scoop on willie hill next May?

You've had a season ticket for thirty years, since your old man had to do a runner from Belfast for benefit fraud. Yet you still can't find your seat unaided.

“Without getting carried away, a club like Rangers should be in the Champions League".
YOU CAN DO IT Rangers legend Barry Ferguson insists Steven Gerrard can take the Light Blues to the group stages of the Europa League Gers are looking to restore some European pride after being knocked out of Europe in the first round last season by Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn
Spoiler: click to toggle By David Friel JUST getting past the Europa League first qualifying round this time would be Progres for Rangers. But Ibrox legend Barry Ferguson has backed Steven Gerrard to lead them all the way to the group stages. Former boss Pedro Caixinha never recovered from losing to Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn at the first hurdle 12 months ago. But Ferguson, who branded that defeat a disaster, believes Gerrard can restore Gers’ Euro pride. The former skipper believes the first qualifier against Macedonians FK Shkupi on July 12 could be the start of something special. He said: “In terms of Europe, it can’t get any worse than last year, can it? That was a shocker of a result. “That’s why it’s important the manager brought new players in early. He’s already mentioned that he wants them fit and ready for the European games. “It’s important that Rangers are in the group stages. Last season was a disaster. The Progres defeat was an embarrassment, disastrous. “Take nothing away from the team from Luxembourg, but Rangers should be beating them. “It looked like Rangers didn’t want it as much as Progres. “But I’m sure they’ll do it this year. I can sense a different mentality this time. “Getting off to a good start in the Europa League could be a real positive for them. It would give them a morale boost, 100 per cent. “Without getting carried away, a club like Rangers should be in the Champions League. “But for now it’s about getting through the qualifying rounds of the Europa. “There will be difficult games because you go into some of them blind. You don’t know too much about the teams you play. “But Rangers must get into the group stages.” Gerrard has signed almost an entire new team and the players will take time to gel. But Ferguson believes they will knit together much better than Caixinha’s foreign imports. Gerrard has opted for a British spine in the likes of Allan McGregor, Connor Goldson and Scott Arfield and Ferguson insists that is a smart move. He said: “Rangers have signed a lot of players in the last few windows, but this time it’s a different calibre of player they’ve brought in. “I’ve seen a lot of players come up and struggle to adapt to Scottish football, but I’m sure these guys won’t because they’ve got good pedigrees. “As a goalkeeper, McGregor is unbelievable, but the biggest thing for me is that Rangers need characters with a certain mentality and he brings that. “If you are building a team you’ve got to go through the spine and I think that’s what he’s looking at, then building round about it. “It looks to me as if he’s getting a kind of physical presence about them which I felt they lacked last season. “I’m impressed by the level of the signings so far. Good players cost money in a transfer fee or wages. So credit to the board because they’ve backed him.” Ferguson was a dominant midfield presence during his Gers days and he expects Gerrard to add a leader in the engine room. But he also hopes the new manager makes space for Ross McCrorie in midfield too. He said: “For me, they do need a proper leader in the middle of the park and there’s no one better to identify that than Steven Gerrard. “It’s a key position. There are good players in there, but I would probably think he is trying to get another in. “Personally, I like McCrorie in front of the two centre-backs. I thought he got unjust criticism last season. “Physically he has still not matured and he’s young, but I think he could be a very good Rangers player in the future. I like him sitting in the middle of the park. I saw that at Pittodrie just before the end of the season. “I thought he was Rangers’ best player and I feel all his best games have been in the middle of the park. “I’m trying not to get too carried away, but it’s exciting. “I just hope we have a better season than last year and try and get a bit of silverware and try to progress.” Fergsuon was speaking at the ‘Live it for Lee’ annual charity match in memory of Lee Jamieson, who tragically lost his battle with leukaemia at the age of just 12. Organised by Lee’s family, profits from yesterday’s match will go to BLOODWISE, a UK charity aiming to fund research into beating blood cancers. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2864664/rangers-barry-ferguson-steven-gerrard-light-blues-group-stages-europa-league/
