Flanagan is a good player. Not sure if he is fully over his injuries though.
Would he get a start in the Celtic team? The bench? If Aberdeen or Hibs had sign(ed) a player of his calibre, would you be worried? Out of the 800 players they've signed, none of them would get near our side.
A couple might make the bench, but that's being kind.
Let the huns & MSM talk them up. This is what happens at this time of year.
Reality hits as soon as they kick a ball, that's when it's fun to cast all their nonsense up.

Signing a Roma striker on loan, Umar Sadiq. Least staunch name ever.
STV also saying he wants another in on top of him before the EL qualifier. Would make it 9 in before a ball's kicked.
Signing the guts of a whole new team and relying on your rookie manager to get them to gel is going to be tough.
Shame.

Met my mate that works in the media at lunch there.
According to him SG is not happy with the board.
SG wants 4 more players, been told they need to sell first to balance the books. (stop laughing)
SG not happy that Morelos is still there.
He was told there was a deal in place with a Chinese club(again stop laughing) and that he would have been away this week?
Obviously Morelos is still there, board telling SG the Chinese reneged on the deal. SG not buying it.
Could this be the funds SG was promised when he took the job? Shown the fake 11m Morelos bid as well as the share issue funds on the back of a fag packet. If so his advisors, should be ashamed.
Also told me our scouting department has been focused on Russia for the last wee while and BR intends to spend big on a CB and a CM(don't understand why?, Armstrong's exit possibly)
No idea if any of this is true, just what he has heard from his job.
edit - forgot I asked about Paddy just from seeing it rumoured on here. Apparently PR doesn't want to come back up the road, wants to keep his options open but BR did ask the question. BR is apparently content with waiting to see if Paddy gets any offers and if not will go back in for him towards the end of the window as PR says he has no intention of playing reserve team football at City.

According to transfermarkt he was was out from July 1014 to Januray 2016 with knee problems. That's a helluva layoff.
No idea how he did at Bolton but he missed roughly half the games (often not in the squad at all) during his loan spell there last season.
Hopefully another Rossiter situation for them.

Good PR from the Huns
Jabba to Flanagan "Just say you're here for the title, and they'll forget the fact you booted eff out yer missus"
They’re huns, they’d probably applaud him either way.

I suspect gerrard will get rid of what he can and just leave the rest on the sidelines.
He won't give a eff about morelos being there or not. Looks so far like he and allen are going to bring their own players in on top of what they cant get shot of regardless and to hell with any financial consequences.
They still have herrera, alves, pena, cardoso etc on the books.

Peña is away on loan to Necaxa Assuming they are paying part of his wage. And by all accounts he was on a good wedge.

There's been nothing in the media regarding Morelos and his thoughts on Gerrard.
There has been all their new players a few from last season all extolling the virtues of the Stevie G revolution, how they are fitter, faster and stronger.
But their £11million striker has still not been quoted on anything. No one has even asked him about moving on to Turkey or China. It's as if the media are trying to make the Huns forget all about him.

Tavs signed a new deal this year didn't he?
3.5mill is probably the buyout clause, whether that's met or not is another matter (stop laughing) and this is why the level 5 media drivel is being spouted about supposed interest
