So are we
 boo I see what you have done there.

It just seems like too much of a big risk for it not to work out in some way, not saying they'll push for the league but surely they'll get it right eventually.
Can actually taste the desperation in this post.

It's been a miserable old attempt, it's so awkward I find myself willing him to do better at times.

Getting it right would be appointing someone like Tommy Wright or Derek McInnes. They've appointed a guy with zero experience and are expecting miracles from him.

Their hysteria always comes when there's no games being played to remind them how gash they are. As soon as the league starts, they'll be back in their hovel...until international week arrives and they can convince themselves that the rest will have done them good and they're (aye) ready to go for the league.

They'll never get it right.

But then why have they not done that? Appointing McInnes or Wright I mean? Why go for Gerrard?

I gather there is posters on here who revel in calling other posters Huns who are just trying to look at it objectively.

I have found the whole Gerrard saga so far pretty fascinating, we know he is inexperienced and Hun stenographers are desperately trying to draw comparisons with Souness when he took over. It does come across as polishing a turd.

If it goes the way we all expect it is gonna be nuclear in Govan, another failed attempt, another gamble with another inexperienced manager, another year we get closer to 10.

What I'm saying is surely they aren't this stupid? Gerrard must be aware of their situation cause if this goes tits up it'll affect his reputation somewhat no?

EDIT! I know McInnes knocked them back, so you'd think the alarm bells would be ringing amongst their support that a supposed dyed in the wool Hun knocks it back.

The penultimate question you posed has a very straight forward answer.

Which I'd imagine goes like this, "Yes, they are."

Previous years would suggest they really are. The league is going to be pretty interesting this year anyway, Gerrard might not last till January which would be some laugh after all their usual bravado during the summer months. And then what? Maybe they'll finally realise they are finished for the foreseeable future.

I just genuinely thought there was more to the Gerrard appointment, maybe they had investment coming, maybe he is actually rated by some people in the game. I originally suspected they appointed him just because he was a big name footballer and it was in someway supposed to upstage us, or to say look we're still a place that attracts "big names".

Fool on me for thinking otherwise I suppose.

But please, don't effing call or hint I'm a Hun, really effing infuriating when your just trying to openly discuss something.

Fenerbahce are being monitored by Uefa over Financial Fair Play.

So no big bids coming from them or high wages to new players?

What I would say about the huns business it seems more polished than it has been in recent years. McGregor on a free is arguably the second best keeper in the league and not to dissimilar for our own signing of Gordon. They've signed a young European CB instead of an over the hill player with no re sale value and an English centre back at a good age that they could sell in the future for potentially a profit. So arguably good business. Not concerned they will catch us but it certainty on paper at least puts them in a better position to compete for second and at least shows one eye pointed some what on the future.

SMSM has been beating the drum hard for the ge55ard revolution. The fact that he has no experience is almost completely disregarded. They drone on about his "charisma" , his ability as a player and his twitter following as though these make weight for the fact that he's never done this before.
They could have jose morino at aye-brokes next season and we'd still pump them up and down Glasgow :lolhuns:
