So they've spent some money on a few players who wouldn't get on our bench and suddenly they're competitive? Who's going to be next sason's Kranjcar? Excitement is building....

I heard they are panicking about the stadium being renamed as well as the sandy jardine stand has had its letters took down. Not true. They've only removed a J and an A, otherwise Jardine's name lives on, sort of ...thanks to a tasty contribution from the home of the Broxi Burger...

You've been ? You'd think it was me taking down the letters!
Its just a (near) anagram of the guy's name, but let's get upset about it anyway, because it's the way things are now.

I realise it’s a tad repetitive but they’ve sold a very healthy amount of season books
That means they have some cash
It won’t last and they’ll burn through it - but a club that sells over 40k season books can splash a bit of pre season cash
Heard the same last year. As another poster said, they very clearly aren't skint. They are banking on us standing still, and given Lawwell's history of doing exactly that, their odds are probably pretty good. They'll need a lot more than what they've currently got, but. Define "not skint" in terms of "over the course of the season" and having to borrow or be propped up by emergency loans from directorsto pay the leccy bill/wages etc.
Edit: they're the equivalent of the alcoholic benefits claimant who isn't skint when his monthly money is paid into the bank, and he's in the pub supping it ...

What sevco are doing is very similar to the strategy employed by David Murray at the old club. Spending over the odds in the hope that that will bring them success and thus greater income to pay for the gamble. If you add in their temptation to dodge tax to do this last time, then the omens aren't to good this time round, especially given their tax dodging criminal at their helm. It's a high risk strategy. Anyone with half a brain would learn from their mistakes. The Huns don't seem to have half a brain though There is no sanity clause.

'STAUNCH' Glasgow pub delights Rangers fans after staff deck it out in Union Jacks for charity The Bristol Bar on Duke Street is hosting a 'Best of British' day on Saturday to raise money for the Erskine charity.
Spoiler: click to toggle By Blair Meikle A GLASGOW pub has delighted Rangers fans by covering its exterior in Union Jacks. The Bristol Bar in Duke Street had a very bright makeover ahead of a ‘Best of British’ charity day they are hosting. They aim to raise money for the Erksine charity, which cares for Scotland’s war veterans, and they will certainly look the part for it. Pictures of the Gers boozer’s new look have been circulating on social media and fans have gone mad for it. John McEwan posted an image and captioned it: “The Bristol Bar in Duke Street looking amazing.” One user said: “Great photo mate.” Another said: “Wow looks great.” David Hunter said: “Fantastic” along with two union jack emojis. Another added: “Ooft, staunch.” The picture was also widely shared on Facebook by supporters groups. A spokeswoman for the bar said today: “We’re having a best of British day to raise money for Erskine. “All the veterans from Erksine will be there and there will be British music and fireworks. “Its on all day on Saturday. We’re a Rangers pub but we welcome anybody.” We told a few days ago how Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGreogr was caught on camera saying “what the f*** is that” after being handed a green ball. blair.meikle@the-sun.co.uk https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/2780304/glasgow-pub-rangers-union-jacks-charity/
