Can see the hun team looking like this for the season:

Mcgregor
Tavernier Goldson Katic John
Jack Dorrans
Candeias Arfield Murphy
Morelos

Bench
Foderingham, Alves, Hodson, Mccrorie, Ejaria, Windass, Herrera

Reserves
Alnwick, Wallace, Cardoso, Holt, Halliday, Docherty, Rossiter, Beerman, Barjonas, Wilson

Still looks well short of putting up a decent challenge, they need to clearout their wasters, get some fullbacks that can defend, a decent dm, at least another winger and a quality striker, they better hope the chinese come back soon with an improved offer for morelos to fund all these new players they'll need ;)
That CB pairing could prove to be very useful or just utter hump.
The boy rossiter will play ( if fit lolz )
I thought he looked very useful v Hibs.

But they won't be challenging with those full backs and that dumpling Morelos.

Very useful apart from being the holding midfielder whose team conceded 5 that day.

He looked ok. So he should. He was the freshest player on the pitch by miles.

every window they sign a power of players and people say they’ve improved and every time it turns out they’ve signed a shed load of total diddies. Half of the midfield of a 2010 SPL select side, the only player Liverpool were willing to send them and a guy that’s played about 6 games in 2 seasons while Beram Kayal was picking up the player of the year trophy in the same side doesn’t faze me one bit.

So they've spent some money on a few players who wouldn't get on our bench and suddenly they're competitive?

Don't get this " they've improved" patter . I read today about a chap ive never heard of , and I honestly can't even remember his name now, going from Norwich to Cardiff for 11 million. If that's the going rate for your average player down there then the huns are signing dross .

Though funnily enough they lost more games (they drew a lot of games in season 16/17)

I realise it’s a tad repetitive but they’ve sold a very healthy amount of season books

That means they have some cash

It won’t last and they’ll burn through it - but a club that sells over 40k season books can splash a bit of pre season cash
Heard the same last year. As another poster said, they very clearly aren't skint. They are banking on us standing still, and given Lawwell's history of doing exactly that, their odds are probably pretty good. They'll need a lot more than what they've currently got, but.

A remarkable feat .

Seems crazy that neither of their managers last season were worth keeping in the job . Hun logic !

Every transfer window since Rodgers' first has been a disappointment. Every transfer window since Warburton left they have spent relatively big. It's mildly concerning.

Rangers' last ever three in a row, Ronny Deila's era, parts of Gordon Strachan's tenure and arguably now Brendan Rodgers' too. Lawwell only acts when his own position is threatened, in my opinion.

To be fair what he meant to say was that we regressed during the Deila era, not stood still during the Deila era.

Ronny Deila was an experiment, a gamble even, that didn't pay off. It most certainly wasn't standing still.

What sevco are doing is very similar to the strategy employed by David Murray at the old club. Spending over the odds in the hope that that will bring them success and thus greater income to pay for the gamble. If you add in their temptation to dodge tax to do this last time, then the omens aren't to good this time round, especially given their tax dodging criminal at their helm.

It's a high risk strategy. Anyone with half a brain would learn from their mistakes. The Huns don't seem to have half a brain though
