Wonder if she know sanyhting about the sale of the club for a £1? Wife of former Rangers owner Sir David Murray to brand him 'manipulative and controlling' in £10m divorce warKate Tinto Murray will accuse her husband of being in a relationship with an ex-girlfriend. For every tenner, he'll give her a fiver ByRussell Findlay The wife of former Rangers owner Sir David Murray will brand him “manipulative and controlling” in a £10million divorce action. Kae Tinto Murray, 46, will also accuse her tycoon husband of being in a relationship with an unnamed ex-girlfriend before and during their seven-year marriage. The details have emerged just weeks after the couple insisted they would remain “firm friends” despite their break-up. Kae will demand £18,000 a month for three years and present a damning account of her broken relationship with Sir David, 66. A friend said: “He was rude and condescending towards Kae. “He was constantly criticising her and destroyed her confidence. “Kae went for counselling to address her low self-esteem. “David told her when and how she could comminicate with him. “He even moved out of their home without giving an explanation and refused to communicate with her unless it was through their housekeeper.” Kae’s lawyer Rachael Kelsey will also ask the court to overturn a financial agreement made between the couple in the event of divorce. The prenuptial deal was signed before they tied the knot at Sir David’s Dunbarney estate near Bridge of Earn, Perthshire, in June 2011 — which was just weeks after he sold debt-stricken Rangers to Craig Whyte for £1. Kae believes that its terms are unreasonable and will argue that she had no choice but sign it in order to get married. She also agreed to the prenup because she believed that she would remain married to Sir David and that she could trust him. But after splitting in February, allegations emerged about his behaviour. She has claimed that Sir David was spotted with another woman in France and that before and during the marriage he continued a relationship with an ex-lover. The friend added: “Kae had no idea about these women, she trusted David when she signed the prenup. “She would have made a different decision had she been aware.” Former lawyer Kae has raised huge sums of money for cancer research with a series of endurance challenges including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and trekking 100km through the Arctic Circle. Her family have substantial landholdings and property throughout Scotland and recently sold a site in North Lanarkshire to developers for a sum of more than £8million. She has twin teenage daughters to her first husband, while Sir David has two adult sons to his first wife, who died of cancer in 1992. Last night, Kae declined to comment. But the friend added: “When she and David split, there was still a chance that it could have remained amicable as they both said in their public statement. “But she has since been made aware of a number of issues which have destroyed all trust. When they got married, Kae was willing to sign the prenup because she was in love and didn’t want people to think she was only interested in his money. “However, she sacrificed her career to be at his side through all the long and hard years involving Rangers and his business difficulties. “Kae’s support through those years helped him pursue business interests. “Her lawyers have advised that the terms of the prenup are so draconian and unfair that they need to be challenged. “She is quite frank that she doesn’t expect £10million, which is a figure that’s been arrived at by lawyers — she just wants David to be reasonable so that they can both move on with their lives. “The most important thing is that she doesn’t want to be forced out of her home in Edinburgh. “Kae is a private person and will be feeling uncomfortable with the fuss.” The couple began dating in 2003 and got engaged three years later. They temporarily split in 2009 before getting married. At the time, Sir David said: “The time is right. Kae and I have been together for almost eight years and, after selling Rangers, this is a completely new chapter in my life. We make a great team.” Her friend told how during their marriage, Sir David became increasingly “reclusive” and spent significant periods of time at his Chateau Routas vineyard in the south of France. While there, she told how he did not want Kae to join him unless he invited her. At the beginning of this year, Kae arranged a holiday in the USA with her twin daughters but “at the last minute” Sir David said he was not going. Around the same time, she said she intended to travel to France to see him — but claims he ordered her to stay away. David made it clear to Kae that if she did so, there would be “obvious consequences” — which his wife took to mean their marriage would be over so she did not attend. They publicly announced their split in April. A statement made on the couple’s behalf at the time said: “It is with deep regret and sadness that Sir David Murray and Kae Tinto Murray announce that they have separated. “They recognise that they are at different stages of their lives and have different interests going forward. They will remain firm friends. “They ask that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time. There will be no further statements given.” Sir David made his fortune from the steel industry while in his 20s but lost both legs in a car crash in 1976. He bought Rangers in 1988, which was the start of an era in which the club dominated Scottish football. His wife was at Holyrood when the tycoon was knighted by the Queen in 2007. But following the 2008 global banking crisis, his property empire became crippled by debt. He was forced to surrender Rangers to Craig Whyte for a £1 coin. After Whyte’s disastrous reign saw Rangers liquidated, Sir David claimed he had been “duped” by the Motherwell-born businessman. In 2008, the Sunday Times Rich List estimated the entrepreneur was worth £720million. And while his wealth has not returned to the pre-crash high, this year’s rich list ranked him as Scotland’s 53rd richest person with a fortune of £150million. Scottish Government ministers are set to decide whether 1300 homes should be built on green belt land owned by Sir David. If granted, it would be the first stage in the creation of a £1billion “Garden District” near the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Gogarburn HQ. The couple’s case is due to call at the Court of Session in Edinburgh on Tuesday. Sir David did not respond to our requests for a comment. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/wife-former-rangers-owner-sir-12674748 Hope she gets the shirt off his back, the pension dipping, book cooking, tax dodging, egomaniac f*ck

Flimflam, Monkeyshines and Boondoggle
News is reaching us today, via a number of sources, on the topic of Club 1872 and the Rangers share offer. Despite trying various avenues to have the story verified, we have so far been unsuccessful. Whilst we genuinely hope it is not the case, we can only share the story in order that the matter may be cleared up.
Over the past few months, we became increasingly worried about the manner in which Club 1872 were endlessly begging for contributions, one off financial gifts and attempting to raise funding by any means possible. We found it strange and something we might expect, not from an organisation associated with our club or it’s fans, but from our rivals. The obvious use of emotional blackmail was thoroughly distasteful and reeked of desperation.
Today, we are being told that Club 1872, unbeknownst to members, secured funding to participate in the Rangers share issue by way of a loan agreed several weeks ago. If there is any truth in this story, Club 1872 has to make its members fully aware of the loan, its terms and the financial implications therein.
If you are a C1872 member, you have a duty to ask the organisation why, if this is the case, you were not informed. Why were you constantly asked for more contributions when funding was already in place? Why you were duped into thinking funds to buy the shares had yet to be secured? Why you were now being asked to hand over cash from the C1872 projects account to the shares account?
We truly hope this story can be verified as false and that the Directors of Club 1872 have not deceived its members. Many individuals are now spreading this information over social media and it’s a matter that desperately needs cleared up. The fans certainly don’t need to be the victims of any further subterfuge after the goings on of 2012. It would be a thoroughly despicable act should any organisation embark on such a scheme of dishonesty, double dealing, duplicity and deception. Will Club 1872 respond to these latest accusations, or will they remain quiet as they did when questioned over Chris “The Muslim Baiter” Graham’s involvement a few weeks ago?
God Bless Our Team
Payments made on loan from members donations and secured against the shares they already own?
IF it's true I'd love to know the institution that signed off on such a loan ... I have a few timeshare schemes I'd like to run by them ... I’m not sure how any of this is possible.
It’s like my 10 year old going into a bank and asking for a loan on the basis that he usually gets some cash on his birthday and Christmas
He has no income, only what people choose to donate to him. Absolute madness

If the Club 1872 story is right it might explain the recent earth scorching with the governing bodies, allocation fiasco and even the rumoured orange jersey. Desperate efforts to get the rank and file zombie onboard.

I’m not sure how any of this is possible. It’s like my 10 year old going into a bank and asking for a loan on the basis that he usually gets some cash on his birthday and Christmas He has no income, only what people choose to donate to him. Absolute madness
The only assets c1872 has are their shares, don't know how how that could work hence the No, I completely agree with you

Rumours Club1690 have taken out a loan to secure the funding for the share issue, yet, didn’t notify members and this was allegedly before they held out the begging bowl
Could get messy https://philmacgiollabhain.ie/2018/06/10/club-1872-loan/

Looks like a 2 million loan facility has been agreed acc to Phil’s source
I give it 12 hours before this is spun as a great move
Buy the shares up front on the never never - the mugs Direct Debits repay the loan - easy peasy Billy
See it’s not debt they’d be going into - it’s just like long term slow and expensive share purchasing - it’s genius
I’m telling ye

I’m telling ye It's very bizarre that they would spend more money to get fewer shares in the long run (I'm assuming the loan isn't interest free); almost as if this is all geared towards short-term financing for the club / directors, rather than long-term investment for the fans
