The fact he didn't have to pay this patsy to manage the eventual crash .. One pound in his own pocket was the deal of the century.
IIRC he actually tried to "dupe" Whyte by asking a much higher price & forgetting to mention the WTC liability!.
Yes ... but he still stiffed Whyte, the 500k would have been a bonus.
He freed himself of RFC which helped him to negotiate the rescue of his other businesses. He also kept his reputation relatively intact, with the huns, compared to what would have happened had be been in charge at the time it went under.
He should have paid Craig 500k to take it off his hands.

News is reaching us today, via a number of sources, on the topic of Club 1872 and the Rangers share offer. Despite trying various avenues to have the story verified, we have so far been unsuccessful. Whilst we genuinely hope it is not the case, we can only share the story in order that the matter may be cleared up.
Over the past few months, we became increasingly worried about the manner in which Club 1872 were endlessly begging for contributions, one off financial gifts and attempting to raise funding by any means possible. We found it strange and something we might expect, not from an organisation associated with our club or it’s fans, but from our rivals. The obvious use of emotional blackmail was thoroughly distasteful and reeked of desperation.
Today, we are being told that Club 1872, unbeknownst to members, secured funding to participate in the Rangers share issue by way of a loan agreed several weeks ago. If there is any truth in this story, Club 1872 has to make its members fully aware of the loan, its terms and the financial implications therein.
If you are a C1872 member, you have a duty to ask the organisation why, if this is the case, you were not informed. Why were you constantly asked for more contributions when funding was already in place? Why you were duped into thinking funds to buy the shares had yet to be secured? Why you were now being asked to hand over cash from the C1872 projects account to the shares account?
We truly hope this story can be verified as false and that the Directors of Club 1872 have not deceived its members. Many individuals are now spreading this information over social media and it’s a matter that desperately needs cleared up. The fans certainly don’t need to be the victims of any further subterfuge after the goings on of 2012. It would be a thoroughly despicable act should any organisation embark on such a scheme of dishonesty, double dealing, duplicity and deception. Will Club 1872 respond to these latest accusations, or will they remain quiet as they did when questioned over Chris “The Muslim Baiter” Graham’s involvement a few weeks ago?

Really?
I had a look at some of his previous. Its quite twisted but funny too. He doesn't seem to see any connection between Chris Graham hating people on account of their race/religion and himself hating people on account of their race/religion. However, I read his piece on the appointment of Gerrard as manager and I conclude that he is non other than the famed D'Artagnan. Its got everything, Rangers fans the world over are known for being loyal and stoic. The world's most famous footballers have wished Gerrard well, but not only that, they all clearly want Rangers back where they belong. Scotland hates us, but outside Scotland we are loved. Tears are shed. And finally he concludes by stating that all of this will make us much more... "relevant!" Just about wet myself.
You may well be right about it being our man D'Artagnan, the Struthian lingo-walloper.
The giveaways are usually the use of words such as "whilst", "unbeknownst" and "therein" - not usually words you would encounter on your average hun websites. No, these are the last refuge of the pretend lawyer and of a person who feels a Struthian staunchness in his written words.
Oh, and the line " . . We found it strange and something we might expect, not from an organisation associated with our club or it’s fans, but from our rivals. . . " - there he goes, having a pop at Alloa again.

Nothing wrong with anything this guy says.
I effing love that.
1872 have been sending different signals about what the cash is actually for for a while now. It was to invest in shares to ensure the club never again fell into the hands of shysters , then it was to support regeneration, and now they are just talking about Gerrards transfer kitty. I'd say for such a radical change of direction they must have had pretty deep discussions with representatives of the club. I must be wrong though, because the members don't seem to be aware of it. Oh well, I'm sure they know what they are doing.

Either it's true or they've lost their crayons.
Payments made on loan from members donations and secured against the shares they already own?

In Glasgow yesterday and was quite struck by the lack of hun garments to be seen, In comparison to ours, a notable exception was a goblin like couple with the female? Wearing a knock off orange effort and the male sporting a knock off union jack effort

Fans club hocks its only asset to guarantee loan so it can buy shares in Company already up to its eyeballs in debt & hocking its assets, just to stay afloat!.
If Club1872 had anyone with half a brain on their committee or were getting proper advice they would be selling their shareholding to King when he has to offer at 20p and then waiting to buy the shares when they then come for sale at what will be a lower price
Or sabe the whole lot to invest in Rang3rs
This is bang on Someone at club 1872 is not acting in the best interests of the fans
Someone at Club1690 is blazer chasing
