Club 1872 given 7 days to confirm how much they can spend on shares
Spoiler: click to toggle 7 June, 2018 Club 1872 has now been formally invited to participate in the upcoming share issue of RIFC and asked to confirm the level of our investment in this issue by close of business on June 14th, 2018.
The total current funding available to the organisation, across both shares and projects, is approximately £960,000. Club 1872 members are now being polled on whether they wish to designate the share issue as a project – in order to be able to utilise this full sum for the share issue.
Once we know the outcome of this poll and the level of the additional funds raised this week, Club 1872 will confirm its level of investment to RIFC on 14th June.
Club 1872 Director Laura Fawkes said:
“We now have only seven days to confirm the level of our investment and we hope the Rangers support will respond over the coming days. This is a fantastic opportunity for supporters to invest directly into the club and see those funds help to build Steven Gerrard’s playing squad for next season.”
“In addition it is an absolutely vital investment for Club 1872 to continue to maintain or grow our shareholding to secure the club for future generations.”
“99.9% of the six thousand or so small supporter shareholders will not be invited by RIFC to participate in this share issue. We would ask them and any other supporters who have not yet signed up to Club 1872 to do so before 14th June. Particularly via the annual donation option which will maximise our investment in this issue.”
“There is also a one-off donation option on the website where anyone, whether they are a member or not, can contribute. 100% of the funds we receive through this method will go straight into Rangers via this issue.” Credit where it’s due, they’ve managed to raise a lot of money as fans, well done Criticism where it’s due, they’re giving it to people within their organisation who are either misguided with good intentions or shysters And that organisation is planning to throw the money into the black hole that is Sevco’s accounts
If they held on to the money and used it to take control then they could do a lot more themselves Some things they could demand - a breakdown of travel expenses by the executives and employees - - a subsequent restriction on any international business class flights and hotels for executives to visit Ibrox - a breakdown of costs in the stadium and surrounds - - and who they go to (eg security was run by one of the directors separate companies - - - and a commitment to more transparent tendering for goods and services
Otherwise it’s just going down the drain

McInnes has "jumped to the front of the queue" in the race to sign Kenny Miller.
Aberdeen to hand Kenny Miller lifeline as Derek McInnes eyes move for ex-Rangers star McInnes tried to sign the veteran in January and could finally get his man on a free.
Spoiler: click to toggle ByKeith Jackson Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is ready to offer Kenny Miller the chance to kick-start his career at Pittodrie next season. Record Sport understands the Dons boss hopes to lure the veteran striker north on a one-year deal after failing in an 11th-hour attempt to get him out of Ibrox on the last day of the January transfer window. With Miller now a free agent after an ignominious end to his third stint at Rangers, McInnes hopes to barge his way to the front of the queue by offering the 38-year-old a chance to lead the Reds attack next season as they bid to hold on to their status as the second strongest side in the country. Top-flight new boys Livingston have also made contact with Miller’s representatives to discuss offering him a player-manager role. And Hibs boss Neil Lennon is another long-term admirer who is also believed to be considering a summer move. Miller is believed to have a concrete offer from an unknown club overseas but is likely to be keen on battling against his old club at the top end of the Premiership. That’s why Dons’ interest will almost certainly appeal to the player who’s embroiled in an increasingly bitter disciplinary dispute with Rangers over the way his years of Ibrox service came to an end. Miller and captain Lee Wallace were suspended for the last six weeks of the season after a stormy end to the Scottish Cup semi-final thrashing by Celtic in April. The player is understood to be desperate to clear his name but has been gagged by the appeals process. Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller set to demand probe into Rangers bust-up they insist never took place But he is free to begin discussions with clubs and McInnes is in talks with his own board about freeing up a wage for the ex-Scotland star. New Rangers boss Steven Gerrard, meanwhile, is cracking on with his own recruitment drive having completed a one-year loan deal with Liverpool for 20-year-old Ovie Ejaria who signed a new long-term deal at Anfield before heading across the border yesterday. And he should also tie up the £2.5million capture of Brighton defender Connor Goldson before his players report for pre-season training a week today. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aberdeen-hand-kenny-miller-lifeline-12664763

Did they pay Hamilton Accies the 400k or 600k reported fee for Docherty that was promised at the end of the season? I wonder this myself.
Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the repayment of this might be behind the sudden deadline for Club1690’s additional funding

I'm sure Windass and co will have no problems with this, "Beale’s session plans are written in Portuguese, meaning only a few Gers stars would understand them, but he is confident they will all enjoy them. He added: “I have several inspirations as a coach. HAUL OF FAME New Rangers coach Michael Beale counts Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers and Kenny Dalglish as two of his mentors The highly-rated coach has worked with a number of big-names throughout his career which included a spell in Brazil
Spoiler: click to toggle By David Friel MICHAEL BEALE doesn’t have the top-level playing background of Steven Gerrard or Gary McAllister. But Rangers’ first-team coach could be the Ibrox side’s secret weapon as they bid to topple Celtic. Highly-rated Beale isn’t your bog-standard bibs and cones man. He won’t be telling Gers stars to “hit the channels” or “chuck it in the mixer”. A published author, his colourful CV tells the story of a coaching life less ordinary — with Chelsea, Liverpool and Brazilian giants Sao Paulo his previous clubs. Beale counts Brendan Rodgers, Jurgen Klopp, Carlo Ancelotti, Kenny Dalglish, Paul Clement and England No2 Steve Holland among his mentors. Yet he didn’t get into elite coaching the easy way. He had to work hard to get on the ladder. A youth player at Charlton, Beale had trials with QPR and FC Twente but never made the grade. Instead, he threw himself into coaching — setting up his own futsal school. At 21, he got his big break with Chelsea, where he encountered Celtic boss Rodgers for the first time. In 2012, Beale moved to Liverpool and soon found himself reunited with Rodgers. Now, they’ll be on opposite sides of the Old Firm divide. Legendary free-scoring Brazilian keeper Rogerio Ceni is another former colleague. A chance meeting on an FA coaching course led to a job offer at Sao Paulo in December 2016. By then a key part of Klopp’s wider backroom staff, it was a big wrench for Beale to leave Anfield and head to Brazil. But he moved out of his comfort zone and ventured into the world of samba soccer. It was a short-lived spell as Ceni’s No 2 at one of Brazil’s biggest clubs. Beale was back working at Liverpool nine months later. Yet the new Gers coach regards that period as one of the most crucial of his entire career — and will put it to good use in Glasgow. He said: “The opportunity probably came a little too soon to be honest. But, like I tell my players, push yourself to be the best you can be. “Why would I not give myself this challenge to go to Brazil and be respected? It was something that I had to do. “I feel that it’s important for coaches to go and learn a different language, culture and way of seeing and playing football. “It’s fascinating for me personally as I believe I am a big student of football and therefore always looking to learn more about the game. “The young players in England can earn so much money they think they are kings. There is less of that culture in Brazil. “A lot of the South American lads are very clear on what they want to achieve in life, be it playing in the Premier League or La Liga. They are very driven and dedicated. “The houses and the cars — that comes with success, but shouldn’t drive it.” It was another chance meeting — with former Rangers chief scout Frank McParland — that initially led to his first spell at Liverpool in 2012. By then, Beale had grown frustrated at the lack of progression for young players at Chelsea — and a Spanish sojourn changed his life. He said: “I was weighing up a couple of opportunities in the Middle East and I went to Majorca on holiday. “When I was there, I had a chance meeting with Frank, who was the Liverpool academy manager. “We got talking and he said there was a vacancy coming up. I went to speak to Liverpool and I moved there in the summer of 2012. “Kenny Dalglish was manager at the time. He was my hero for years and a close relative of my nan, Ray Harford, had been assistant to him at Blackburn. “He left as I was on the brink of coming in but Brendan took over as manager. That was a nice coincidence because I knew Brendan’s background. “I’d been involved with him as a staff coach at Chelsea and I had an idea of what he might like. “I believed in his philosophy and fell in line with that. “Things moved very quickly at Liverpool. From 2012 to 2017, we had 25 debuts for players who had worked their way up. “Brendan and Jurgen Klopp are both managers who like to work with people and develop them. “Kenny was a mentor to the staff too. When I left, we sat down for a couple of hours and he talked to me about my own development as a coach. “I really appreciated that. It was invaluable. When you think about having someone like Kenny you can call that’s a big plus.” Beale’s session plans are written in Portuguese, meaning only a few Gers stars would understand them, but he is confident they will all enjoy them. He added: “I have several inspirations as a coach. For development I would look at someone like Johan Cruyff as a lighthouse for my ideas and then to Carlo Ancelotti for the management of people. “My idea is to inspire the individual to improve the collective. “I spend a lot of my time on people and understanding them. “I pride myself on the one to one relationship. You have to understand the players — what makes them tick, makes them smile and want to play — before asking them to understand you. “It’s important that each player is developing, feeling comfortable in the club and therefore improving the team. I like to see attacking football with lots of expression.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2753118/rangers-coach-michael-beale-celtic-brendan-rodgers-kenny-dalglish-mentors/

They need to look at Aberdeen and Hibs and see what they're buying and buy slightly better. We are not their challengers, they are. They need to be better than them and get ahead of them at the least amount of expenditure. If they keep on being unrealistic and spending money they don't have chasing us then they'll be forever in our shadow, and Aberdeen's.
The club that died was forever in Jock's shadow and for any lurkers despite all your corruption, financial cheating, your cons and the immeasurable help from every corner of the SFA/SPL establishment and despite shafting your very own Lizzie in trying to match Jock and the Lions you failed miserably and DIED - Roon ye all you will be taking that to your crematoriums . "forever in our shadow" may not happen but by feck they are forever in Jock's shadow - Feel the cold huns!!!
They are in Brendans shadow for effs sake The sure are. I just like to remind the lurkers that they can deny and deflect until their dying breath but their club died and no longer exists and it died trying to pull every trick in the illegal book led by Minty Moonbeams to match Jock Stein and failed miserably - In their odd lucid and extremely rare realistic moments they know it and by feck it grinds their gears.

Its not exactly news If you've followed anything by Auldheid or the Craig Whyte trial then you would know its true.
What seems to have been missed is that compelling as the JJ narrative is, TRFC in their statement issued on same day they were charged claimed that non compliance charges relating to the end of March had been withdrawn and described them as groundless. In the later Hughes statement they described the charges as ridiculous. Quite how anything relating to the end of March can be withdrawn is questionable but if true an explanation needs to be provided. Events at end March took place under SDM and from 6th May Craig Whyte. If charges relating to end of March, the very time frame that caused an investigation after testimony in court have been withdrawn it looks like an attempt to protect SDM/A Johnson/Dave King and even Dickson although he remained after CW took over and make CW the Fall guy (again). Its almost as if a deal has been done to avoid revealing how the justification for granting the licence differed from the true explanation and with it charges that the justifications at end of March ie "potential" and 'discussions happening' were fraudulent. Changing the terms of reference of the enquiry is nothing new to them. Remember the dates of the LNS enquiry being changed to avoid wtc investigation.

I like to see attacking football with lots of expression.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/2753118/rangers-coach-michael-beale-celtic-brendan-rodgers-kenny-dalglish-mentors/ Surely he can translate it for them
